Sweet Little Heart Tags.

Good morning!

I'm here today to show you some new tags I've just finished:

These cute girls and angels are from Dearie Dolls and I thought they were perfect to be used in some metallic heart tags I had in my stash.

I've colored them with Copics and made different tags for various occasions: Get Well, Thank You and I Love You, perfect to be added to a bunch of flowers or a chocolate box!

In detail:

They'll be soon in my shop if you are interested.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Sweet Owls.

Hello!

Spring is full of occasions to send cards and one of the most important is Mother's Day.
My mom loves receiving cards and every time I make a card for Mother's day, I think of her.

Today, I'd like to show you one of my latest cards:

I've had this digi from the Merlin and Blinky set from DigiStamps Boutique for ages. I've finally found some time to make a very simple card, not too big so it's perfect to be added to a bunch of flowers or to a chocolate box.

Aren't they sweet?

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

This card will be available in my Etsy shop later today. If you can't find it, contact me, I'll be pleased to help!

Doves for a Wedding.

Good morning dear readers!

Today I'd like to show you one of my latest creations. I'd been thinking for a while to create something elegant suitable for a wedding, like Thank You tags, which could be easily added to favours.

A few days ago, while looking through my files, I came across a collection of images perfect for what I had in mind.

I created small Thank You tags:

and bigger Save the Date tags:

Graphics was purchased from Aimee Asher years ago and I don't think it's still available.
I decided to match the tags with a light blue cardtosck and a matching satin ribbon.

What do you think? Are they elegant?

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 265 - Thank You

This week the theme at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge is very useful: Thank You.

We always need Thank You cards on hand and, even if we don't need one, it's nice to thank someone for being a friend..

Inspired by a digi, I opted for a "Thanks for your support" card:

The image is Elly & Friend by Sweet'n Sassy Stamps, colored with Copics and mounted on a dotted paper printed from Pink Petticoat.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge # 260 - Colour Combo

Hello!
Welcome to a new C.R.A.F.T. Challenge!

This week we have a colour combo for you:

And I have two cards to show you:

For both cards I used stamps from Flonzcraft: they come from a 4" x 7" (10 x 18 cm) sheet of clear stamps (7 in total) called Cat Mommy Walking.
The first thing that came into my mind when I saw the little rabbit mending a sock was my mom: I Always give her the few things I need to mend! I should make a "Thank you" card for her too!

Papers are from Trimgym and belong to the "Here Comes the Sun" set.

They are both sponsors this week so you may have the chance to win one of their prizes!

Have a look here at our Challenge blog to check the beautiful creations from the DT and the fabulous sponosrs we have this week!

I'd like to enter my cards into the following challenges:

Autumn Colors.

I love fall!
I esepcially love the colors, the light, the warm temperatures, almost everything.
My mum doesn't like autumn because there's winter just around the corner... I love autumn despite winter is just around the corner!

I was very happy when, checking if I was a winner in last week's challenge, I noticed that this week theme at Tuesday Throwdown Challenge was "Colors of Fall".

I've had this digi stamp from Broken Box Stock ready to be colored for a while and this challenge has given me the right inspiration to create a card with it, this one:
It is called Cornucopia (available here as black and white digi stamp) and I've really loved coloring it with my Copics!
The paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg Collection.

This card is for the following challenges:
One Crazy Stamper Octoner Challenge: Thanksful/Autumn Challenge
ABC Challenge: W for Words

Inspiration Saturdays: Quick & Easy Tags

HAPPY SATURDAY!

Here I am ready to inspire you with something quick and easy.

We all need some tags on hand to add a special message to a gift or bunch of flowers and today I'll show you how to make them in a very quick way.

Colored digis are particularly useful to make quick projects.
I'm not a fan of pre-colored digis because I like to color and I think it is the best part of my creative moments, but sometimes I must admit they are very useful.

First, when you are in a hurry.
Second, when you print small images.

Today, I've decided to make some pretty tags.

First, I copied the tag shapes on a white embossed paper and cut them:

I inked the edges with a color matching my colored digi:

I printed my digis on a piece of cardstock and cut them:

I finally made some halos using some gold wire and a pencil:

I then gathered all my supplies in pretty containers, I added rhinestones, ribbons and sentiments:

And that's how they turned out:
Aren't they cute? And super quick!
In half an hour you can make a batch of them and have them ready every time you need to add a special touch to a thank you gift or bunch of flowers or cookies or...

This lovely angel is available in Broken Box Stock shop: she is Angel Toodle, available here in color and here as a black and white digi stamp.

Cows...

A couple of years ago I had a fantastic sweet Customer in my eBay shop who loved cows: she started buying some of my best selling cow plaques and we ended up being friends in some ways. She ordered customised pieces (with cows of course) and she told me something about her life and her love for these funny farm animals.
She was always cheerful, nice and full of enthusiasm, we talked to each other on the phone and we also planned to meet sooner or later.
The last time I heard about her she was recovering from a serious illness then... nothing. I tried to contact her but I never got an answer and I saw from her eBay feedbacks that she stopped buying. I've always been worried that something bad could have happened and everytime I paint a cow I think about her.

A few days ago I discovered a new (for me) Challenge Blog with a lovely theme: "Old Macdonald had a Farm", perfect for my card using Bugaboo cow with sunflower digi:

I wanted colors matching the sunflower, so I chose oranges and yellows both for the card and the papers (all from DCWV) and added matching flowers,a ribbon and a simple sentiment.

I will enter this card in the following Challenges:

and of course I couldn't miss this week's
Bugaboo Catch the Bug Challenge which says "Anything goes".

And I dedicate this card to my sweet Customer, wherever she might be. It's been a pleasure to meet you and paint for you.

Time Well Spent...

When I saw this digi in Bugaboo shop I thought it was The Stamp.
I've always spent hours reading books to my little daughter: in the afternoon, at night, while waiting for the doctor... She has always loved to sit down next to me and listen to a story, old or new, short or long, every moment was perfect to enter the magic world of tales.
And I've always loved to read, trying to make different voices for the different characters, to sound happy when the characters was happy or sad or angry or astonished or frightened...
They have always been really precious moments I'll treasure forever.

I still read tales to my daughter even if now she sometimes reads something to me: she practises and I enjoy the story as much as I do when I read for her. So this card is meant for children who want to thank their mothers but also for those mothers who want to thank their babies for the joy they bring in our lives.

When I read the requirements of a few challenges I thought this stamp was perfect for three of them.

Here's my card:
I used a card from Lasting Impressions with embossed dots and I glued the Bugaboo Reading Time digi - which I painted with watercolor pencils - and a light yellow ribbon which matches the color of the envelope.

I'm entering these three challenges:
Catch the Bug Challenge Blog: Emboss It! They ask for a card with dry or wet embossing.

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge # 76: Go Dotty. They ask to use dots and this card has a lot! Moreover, this challenge is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps, so that's perfect!

A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge #134: Thank You. This card has become a Thank You card for every mum but also for every baby who sit down and listen to what we tell, with enthusiasm, love, tenderness and curiosity.

It's the first time I enter these last two Challenges, so I'm pretty excited!

It’s World Kindness Day and Bugaboo Stamps is Celebrating!

And here's my card for the Challenge!

I don't love cooking so I truly appreciate everyone who cooks for me.
That's the reason why I chose this stamp: Thank You Mom (or husband - as in my case - or Dad or Granmother or friend or...) for every single meal you have prepared for me in my life.

Of course, I have to prepare meals for my family but I'm always thankful to be an Italian and have so many types of pasta and vegetables (and pizza) available to prepare something healthy with a little time and effort.

I've chosen oranges for this card.

Well, orange shades are not among my favourite at all but I really love the orange I chose for the BBQ so I decided to go for it and work with matching papers and cards.

Card and paper are from DCWV and the Bugaboo stamp is colored with watercolor pencils.

A part from being one of my first challenges, this is the first challenge with sketch and I hope I've followed it correctly.

Time to go and think about... lunch...
