Pooh Bear Birthday Tags #

Photobucket

Hi, and thanks for joining us at Fantablous Cricut Challenge me Monday!  This weeks challenge is to use a tag in your project.  You can play along here!

It seems a great deal of my projects are for my kids I tend.  HAHA, they are important to me.  They also appreciate the things I make.  The smiles I get are the greatest rewards.  I know little gifts make them feel so special.  I made these tags for the kids' birthday presents.  I figured Pooh Bear is loved among all ages.

Cartridge: Pooh & Friends
Names are computer generated,
then punched with SU oval punch, and bordered with SU scallop oval

Princess Castle

My girlfriends daughter is going to dance for Disney World.  That is a long way from home.  Needless to say the mom is a little nervous, happy, and distraught.  There really isn't much I can do, except be her friend (that's easy though).  I offered to make this cake, to make things a little easier.  I know their whole family like fruity cakes, so I made this one a Cherry Chip.  I love almond, so it satisfies me too. Ok on to the challenge this fits into.  Fantabulous Cricut Challenge me Monday # 210 .  'Celebrate  Mom'  although it was made for the daughter going away, it was a favor for the mom.  Kinda a two in one deal!!  The entire cake is edible.  We also made decorations to match (but they were definitely for the daughter)  LOL

Cricut Cartridges: Dreams Come True, Happily Ever After, Gypsy Wandering

Umbrella gift set for Mom

PhotobucketGood morning!  Well, it's morning while I am writing this!  It's suppose to be a beautiful day.  I started my morning, by first of all cleaning my play room (You'll see why in a minute).  Then I finished up a project that I started on last night.  It is for Jason's mom, she lives in Wyoming so it will be for Mother's day and her birthday.  That's ok right?  To double up and save shipping  ;)   The idea came about because I wanted to participate in Fantabulous Cricut challenge me Monday #208~ which is to use an umbrella in your project.

Cricut Cartidge:  "Forever Young"  (everything)
SU Stamps:  Celebrate "Something to Celebrate"  Happy Birthday "Well Scripted"
Paper:  Certainly Celery, So Saffron, DSP Groovy Guava.
Misc: Bling, Corner punch SU Word Window Punch

Now, all I have to do is get some flower seeds, and a gift card.  Oh ya, and remember to mail on time.

Hope you have a fantastic day.....

See why I had to clean my play room this morning.  This believe it or not is from
this one project.  It was clean before I started.   ~take care

Bunco Bunny

Photobucket I checked out Fantabulous Cricut yesterday morning.  I check in quit a bit, with the intention of playing along.  Then life happens and I don't get to as much as I would like.  However, this week I took the time to build something.  We have Bunco this Friday and we wanted to do something springy.  My BFF had already decided she wanted to make this box.  So I went to town with it.  I think once we get them all decorated and stuffed with some prizes they will be a great addition to the Bunco Rally!   ***AFTER NOTE:  The Bunco Babes loved them...... and I won 3rd and Fantabulous Cricut

Supplies:
Paper: SU DSP, Cameo Coral, Dafodil Delight, Certainly Celery, Black,
Accessories: Pearls, diamond, corduroy buttons, felt flowers

I cut the cardstock in 1/8" slices, and curled them around a pencil. then strung then around to decorate.  I also used up some of my felt flowers and corduroy buttons.

Shelby 21st Birthday FCCB #49

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #49
Shaped Card Challenge: Use your Cricut to make a shaped card (card must be a shape other than a square/rectangle).

I used sweet treats to make this card for my sons 21st birthday. I had to make this card fun for him.
Oh peek-a-boo!
A sexy girl pops out of his cake, cute right. The girl is from Sweet Sassy Stamps!
I am pretty sure he will get a kick out of this card. I tried to make him laugh. I love you Shelby- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Love you mom!

Crinkle Ribbon

I love this crinkle ribbon! It is wonderful and so fun. You can pick this up over at My Craft Spot by Kimberly Tracy. She has many beautiful colors. Tracy is the spotlight sponsor this Sunday over at Fantabulous Cricut. Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoy my project. As well as Tracy's ribbon. Mention that Ladybug sent you over.

This project was also showcased at my last workshop. I used the glitter paint in Silver to color the flower. I also used the chunky glitter from Stampin' Up! in the center of the flower. The paper colors I chose were basic black and basic gray. Kind of a monochrome thing going on, with a splash of pink. Well, I hope you enjoy your day. Take care.

Copper Emboss FCCB #48

Challenge #48 Emboss It! Make a project incorporating some type of embossing It could be wet, hand embossing, folder embossing, etc. For my project I did Cricut embossing. Joy's Life has a pretty good tutorial to follow. I used her technique but it wasn't quit bold enough~ so I used a stylus to make the image a little darker.
The background is done using SU-Kindness, and SU-confetti. With Pretty in Pink, Daffodil Delight, and Marina Mist. Then I stamped 'best wishes' to finish it off.
Here is a close up of the flower. I like how this card turned out, I will try some other metals to see if I can get the embossing to show up better. Thanks for stopping by today!
