Ik heb het patroon met veel plezier meegetest.

I helped to test the pattern and did this with great pleasure.

Velocitas

Sofilantjes lanceerde enkele dagen geleden haar nieuwste patroontje.  Natuurlijk maakte ik het nieuwe patroontje ook en wat een leuk patroontje is het alweer.  Voor jongens? Ja natuurlijk, maar ook voor meisjes.

Sofilantjes has a new pattern. And yes, of course I made this one too.  What a fun pattern.  Boy pattern? Yes. Girl pattern? Yes

Ik maakte deze voor mijn meisje en ze ziet er super uit.  Ze vind het ook zelf een hele leuke trui.  Grote fan van zakken, dus daar was ze heel blij mee.  Het patroontje heeft 2 verschillende colorblock opties, en er zit ook een colorblock in de mouwen, die kort of lang kunnen zijn. 

I made it for my girl and she looks stunning and likes it a lot.  The pattern has 2 different colorblocking options.  And even the sleeves have a colorblock, they come in short and long version.  

Het patroontje is er vanaf 12 maanden tot 14 jaar, dus lange tijd om er van te genieten. 
Zoals altijd zijn ook de instructies weer heel gemakkelijk om te volgen.  Zo heb je binnen de kortste keren je eigen (of toch voor je kindje) Velocitas hoodie.  Wil je het patroontje graag kopen?  In de zijbalk vind je de link naar Sofilantjes.

Kids Clothes Week 2018 - Zebra

Kids Clothes Week is van start gegaan.  Ik twijfelde er in het verleden al vaak aan om eens mee te doen.  Een week, elke dag een uurtje naaien, voor je kind(eren).  Dit jaar gaan we er gewoon voor. 

Kids Clothes Week started yesterday.  Sew Clothes for your kids, 1 hour each day for 7 days.  This year I entered.

Welk klein meisje of kleine jongen houdt er niet van om zich te verkleden?  Niene houdt er natuurlijk ook van, net als van geschminkt worden.  Niene heeft het verkleden nog niet zo heel lang ontdekt, maar omdat mama kan naaien, zijn er dan natuurlijk wel speciale verzoekjes.  Zoals deze keer - de zebra.  

Doesn't every little girl or boy love to dress up?  Niene loves it too, just like facepaint.  Niene did discover the magic of dressing up a few months  ago, but she knows mom can sew and has special requests.  This time she wanted to be a zebra.

Het kleedje is de Nivalis van Sofilantjes - stof haalde ik op het stoffenspektakel, en nee, ik weet niet meer bij wie precies.  Kleedje is dus dag 1 + dag 2 voor KCW2018, want in een uurtje lukt me niet alles.

The dress is Nivalis from Sofilantjes, fabric I got from a Stoffenspektakel (sorry can't translate this one).  Dress is a project from day 1  and 2 for KCW2018, an hour wasn't enough to get it ready.

Vivax

Vivax staat voor 'levendig'.  Ik kan niets anders zeggen, dan dat ons meisje een levendig meisje is.  Met drie broers moet ze natuurlijk haar mannetje kunnen staan.
Vivax is ook het nieuwste patroon van Sofilantjes.  Gelukkig mocht ik alweer testen voor Anne. En zo heeft Niene terug een paar kleedjes bij in haar kast.

Vivax kan zowel als top of als jurkje gemaakt worden.  Ik maakte het jurkje.
Er zijn ook 2 halslijnopties.  Bij mij zie je de kraag. 
En daarbij zijn dan nog eens 5 verschillende mouwopties.  Ik koos voor de lange mouwen uit 2 delen.
En zoals je kan zien zijn er ook heel leuke zakjes.

Vivax translates as full of life. I can't say anything else than the fact that our girl is full of life. She has 3 big brothers and has to take care of herself.
Vivax is also the new pattern from Sofilantjes.  I was very lucky to be one of the testers for Ann. That makes Niene has some new dresses in her closet.

Vivax can be made as a top or a dress. I made the dress option.
There are 2 neckline options. It's quite cold around here, so I made her the dress with collar.
And there are also 5 sleeve options. I chose the long sleeves with 2 parts.
And as you can see the Vivax has some cute pockets.

Het is zover.... Sofilantjes heeft alweer een nieuw patroon: Regina.  En ja hoor, alweer eentje om verliefd op te worden.  Sinds vandaag te koop bij Sofilantjes (link in zijbalk).  

Na de het Regem-shirt, is er nu de Regina kleedje/tuniek.

Ik mocht opnieuw meehelpen testen.  En dat deed ik maar al te graag.  Ik mocht de jurk-versie testen, met de 'gewone' lange mouwen, want ja, er is ook een versie met plooitjes en natuurlijk ook korte of 3/4 mouwen. Het rokgedeelte mocht ik testen met de plooien, en hier is er ook een gerimpelde cirkelrok-versie.  Als je de Solis, Litore of Montis hebt, dan heb je nog meer geluk, want het rokgedeelte kan je wisselen bij deze jurken/tunieken.

I was one of lucky ladies, who could test the Regina, and loved it very much.  I could test the dress-option, with the 'regular' long sleeves, 'cause yes, the Regina has a special option sleeves, with pleats, and of course short or 3/4 sleeves.  The skirt I tested is the pleated skirt and here you can use the gathered circle skirt too.  If you have the Solis, Litore and/or Montis, you're lucky, the skirt of them is interchangeable.

 Wat deze Regina verder nog heel speciaal maakt, is het stofje!  Dit is gemaakt van een stofje van die nieuwe bloemen-collectie van Olumis Fabrics, een Engelse webshop die ik net leerde kennen. 
Ik vreesde eerlijk een beetje of ons meisje wel zou passen met een meer donker bloemenstofje, maar het staat haar wonderwel heel erg goed.

Sofi-combi

Jaja, ik weet het... alweer Sofilantjes (link in zijbalk), maar ja, wat wil je als het leuke patroontjes zijn.

Ik twijfelde heel lang, zou ik een kleedje maken met combi Nivalis/Liv of gewoon apart.

Uiteindelijk ging ik voor 'apart' - Nivalis top - Liv rokje en als ze ze allebei aanheeft, kan je zelfs denken dat het een kleedje is.

Yes, I know... Sofilantjes (link in side-bar) again... But what can I do, the patterns are so lovely, you can't resist.
I doubted for a long time... A combi Nivalis/Liv dress or making them apart.

I finally chose the Nivalis top and the Liv skirt, when they're together it almost looks like a dress, but I still can combine with another top or skirt/trousers if I want.

 Stofje komt van bij Droomstoffen (link in zijbalk), mijn man was helemaal niet overtuigd van het stofje, maar toen Niene het eenmaal aan had, kwam er toch.... 'Ik had niet gedacht dat het mooi ging zijn, maar ze past er toch mee.'  Zo zie je maar, stofjes kunnen toch helemaal anders uitdraaien op de rol/in de kast dan verwerkt in een kledingstuk.

Fabric is from Droomstoffen (link in side-bar).  When I ordered it, my husband wasn't convinced at all (His words: 'I don't like it).  But when she finally put the shirt and skirt on, he changed his mind.  'Never thought it would turn out looking good, but it does.'  So you can see, a fabric in the shop or in your fabric stash isn't the same once finally made in a shirt/skirt/dress...

En zoals je kan zien is Niene ook helemaal fan.  Volleerd fotomodel deze keer, ze had heel veel zin om op de foto te gaan.

And Niene likes the combo too. She acted like a real model, it was a pleasure taking pics, no running around or convincing.

Kusjes en dromen / Kiss and dream

Dat ik vaak de patronen van Sofilantjes gebruik is wel duidelijk, zo ook nu.  Het werd nog eens een Orbis.
That I use patterns from Sofilantjes is quite obvious.  Now I did the same thing.  I made another Orbis

Niene gaat naar de dansschool en daar hebben ze liefst dat er gedanst wordt met broekjes ipv rokjes.  Dus toen ik mijn bestelling bij Droomstoffen plaatste, had ik ook een Orbis in gedachten en daar vond ik het leuke sterrenstofje.
Niene is taking dancing classes (for toddlers) and they prefer not wearing any skirts or dresses.
When I placed my order at Droomstoffen, I knew I wanted to make an Orbis and I found this cute star-fabric.

De Orbis paste ik wel aan, de zakken lopen deze keer niet door tot achteraan en er zit ook geen (valse) gulp in.
I made some adjustments, the pockets don't go all the way to the back and there's no (faux) fly.

Verder maakte ik ook nog een Sylva, deze werd ook verlengd naar een jurkje.
I also made another Sylva, and this one became a dress too.

Dit keer geen stofje uit de stoffenkast of ook niet speciaal besteld.  Wel een recyclageproject.  Eigenlijk een truitje speciaal gekocht voor de print, omdat Niene daarbij aan K3 dacht. Het truitje zelf hadden ze niet in kleine maatjes. Van het eerste kleedje dat ik er mee maakte was ik toch niet zo tevreden (te hoog pyamagehalte).  Dus werd het terug uit elkaar gehaald en met het Sylva-patroon (en de contrasterende rode stof) ben ik toch tevreden. 

This time I didn't order a fabric and didn't use something from my stash.  It was a recycle-project.
I bought a shirt specially for the print.  The shirt I bought didn't come in Niene's size.  I first made a dress but wasn't happy with it (pj-look).  So I took it apart and used the Sylva-pattern, with contrast red fabric and this looks much better.

Met deze zomerse temperaturen ideaal natuurlijk.

Hierbij zetten we graag de patronen van Sofilantjes in de kijker, dit keer de kleedjespatronen.
Ik maakte de Foliis en de Sylva (ok, beetje valsspelen ik gebruikte het patroontje en maakte er een kleedje van, en zelfs nog op de groei).

Domi Sweat Pants - Sofilantjes

Sofilantjes maakte een nieuw patroon -- Domi sweat pants 
Lange broek, bermuda, short... keuze genoeg bij dit leuke patroontje.
 En zelfs de zakken kan je kiezen, rond of recht.
 Alsof ze het wist, mocht ik de lange versie met de ronde zakken testen, en toevallig wou ik die ook het liefst doen.
Supergemakkelijk te maken patroontje, met goede instructies, zoals bij alle Sofilantjes-patroontjes.
Het patroon voorziet ook plaats voor een touwtje.
(zoonlief vindt die niet leuk, dus na de fotoshoot ging de boordband eraf en ging er een nieuwe aan, zonder de touwtjes).
Intussen al een favoriete broek van zoonlief.
