Sacramento, Part II (San Francisco)
While in Sacramento, we also took a day trip to San Francisco - my old home. Sniffle, sniffle! We basically made it a day of shopping, dragging along my Dad and Logan. We first stopped at the outlets in Vacaville. Then we went to the Anthropologie in Corte Madera - they have the best sale racks! We then stopped at the look out point of the Golden Gate Bridge. Although, Eric and I have been to this stop before, we have never taken pictures there. It was a BEAUTIFUL day in the city, although it was a little windy. We then went to Baker Beach so Logan could play in the sand. We did take walks along Baker Beach when Logan was very little, but he never got to play in the sand. We changed that! He loved the sand! Unfortunately, there was no going in the ocean - that will have to wait for another, warmer beach, later in his life!I also got to see my friend, LaDonna briefly while I was there. We then went and had a yummy dinner at Nick's Crispy Tacos - it was DELICIOUS! We did a little more shopping at Ambiance and then Union Square. Before heading out of the city, we stopped and got frozen yogurt and ice cream at a liquor store (I know, really random. Our friends, Brady and Jocelyn discovered this yummy place. They have the best frozen desserts!). After a long day, we made the drive back to Sacramento. Goodbye San Francisco - I have missed your beautiful beach, yummy food and great shopping. BUT I don't really miss the parking and traffic. I will take my lovely suburban Denver!
