Phoenix = Family, Friends, U2 Concert and a Whole Lot of Fun!

A couple of weeks ago, we took a little trip to Phoenix. We stayed with my brother and his wife, Ashlie. Logan got to play with his cousin, Berkeley. They are finally at a stage where they are aware of one another. It was so much fun to watch them interact and play together!

While we were there we got to go to an ASU football game. One of Chad's patients hooked him up with some awesome tickets. They were great seats and we got free food. Too bad the babies weren't as excited about it. It was during their normal bedtime; they were having trouble sleeping with all of the noise and every time the crowd would cheer they would start bawling. With all of their unhappiness, we were forced to leave the game early. But we still had a great time.Ashlie got the babies these adorable devil ears to wear (ASU's mascot is the sun devil) and everyone commented on how cute they looked.

We also went to Schnepf Farms and got to enjoy some Fall festivities. We went on a Hay ride and got to feed some deer. Logan was more interested in playing with the branch though, than feeding it to the deer! The kids got to play in the pumpkins...And pose for pictures...There was a lot of other things to do there, but we will have to wait until the kids get a bit older. Here are a few cool shots I got of the farm:

The kids also got to play at the park together a couple of times. This was Logan's first time to the park and he LOVED it, especially the swing. I feel bad...I should have taken him sooner. I just didn't realize he was old enough to enjoy it.

We got to go out to eat and have a sleepover with Rebecca and Zach, some of our dental friends from San Francisco. It was so good to see them and catch up. We forced Logan and Leah (their youngest) to take some pics together.

And finally, the main reason we went to Phoenix - to go to the U2 Concert. I got Eric tickets for his graduation present. We had assigned seats, but we were in the 5th row. It was pretty awesome to be that close; I have never heard music so loud at a concert before. The Arena:Right by where we were sitting:Opening Act - The Black Eyed Peas:Right before U2 came on: U2 on Stage: All the lights during the song "With or Without You."The concert was awesome. Even though I am not the biggest U2 concert, Bono and the band are great performers!

Thanks to everyone for making our Arizona trip so much fun. We really had a blast! And thank you Chad and Ashlie, for watching our lil' munchkin while we went to the concert!

Look Who's Got Two New Teeth...

Yep, that's right...Logan got his first two teeth in last week. He was really fussy one morning for Eric while I was gone running errands. When I came back we were trying to figure out what was wrong with him; I felt for any teeth and sure enough I felt one and saw another one about to break through. We started giving Tylenol/Motrin around the clock and he never was very fussy - he just woke up several times at night and had to be consoled back to sleep. He also only wanted to eat every 4-5 hours vs. his normal every 3 hour schedule. Then, on Thursday he only would take a morning bottle and was super fussy all day long. I got kind of worried and thought he had an ear infection, but we went to the doctor on Friday and everything looked fine. Since Thursday, he has started to eat more and is much happier. I think we are on the downward slope with these two teeth...Thank Goodness! Now only a few more dozen teeth to get through! He has become quite the drooler with these teeth coming in!He wasn't too happy with us trying to get a close up picture!
