Elisabeth Bell Digi Bell's Guest

Good morning all I hope you have all had a fabulous Christmas and now getting ready for the dreaded diet that always follows lol having stuffed away too much over the last couple of days.

I am here today with some inspiration for the Elisabeth Bell's Digi Bell's blog. I just could not resist this adorable image called 'Giddyup Pony' in Elisabeth Bells Digital Collection, isn't it cute.

For my card I went with some odd sort of colours  because isn't that just what any child does when playing dress up? The papers I used are actually Christmas ones but I thought they worked perfectly here. Please don't laugh at my attempt on a lasso lol.

Crafty Calendar 'Leaves & Lace' Challenge

Good afternoon all, it is lovely to be here again today! As I said yesterday this post should have gone live on the 6th but didn't and as you still have time to play I thought I would add it now.

The challenge at Crafty Calendar Challenge is 'Leaves and Lace', we have a great sponsor in Art By Miran who generously gave us some images to play with and I used this one called 'Poinsettia'. When I first saw the image I thought I would really struggle colouring it in but in truth I actually loved colouring it. This was the first image that I used the Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils on after colouring with Promarkers and Flexmarkers first.

Supplies:-
6" Square Card Blank - Natalie & Amy's
Card Stock - Bazzill
Designer Papers - First Edition 'Silent Night'
Die Cut - Poinsettia Corner Flourish #52922 by Jennifer Wambach
Lace & Ribbon - Stash

Crafty Calendar 'Things With Wings' Challenge

Good morning again. As I said in my post below I am back with my card for the Crafty Calendar Challenge but if you are looking for my My Time To Craft post you will find it below.

So this month we have a fabulous sponsor from an artist I love and that being Elisabeth Bell who generously gave us some images to play with as well as a wonderful prize for one of you.  Our challenge this month is 'Things With Wings' and I can tell you Elisabeth has several of those images so in both rubber and digital so no excuse to join in.

For my card I went with something different for me, no patterned paper and lots of die cuts all in white! I must admit I quite like the final card but boy was it hard to choose those die cuts lol. I have used Fairy Merrily and of course gave her lovely glittery wings, I added a pin and a charm as these were the challenge requirements over at Elphine House Australia. I was lucky enough to win last month's challenge with my apron card found HERE, so had to play along again even though pins are a real challenge for me as I can never get them to look good!

For some unknown reason my image looks like her dress isn't coloured but it is in pale blues.

Supplies:-
6" Square Card Blank - Natalie & Amy's
Card Stock - Bazzill
Charm - Stash

Items in Red are available at Natalie & Amy's.

Promarkers & Flexmarkers Used:-
Skin - Coral, Oatmeal & Blush
Hair - Cinnamon, Tan, March Hare & Light Fawn
Dress & Wings - Frozen Lake, Pastel Blue & Blender

My Time To Craft 'Baubles' Challenge

Good morning everyone, thank you for stopping by. The mornings and evenings are getting colder but the daytime is still not too bad, does that mean we are going to get snow next week as they have forecast? I really don't want snow until after Christmas at least as my daughter is due her baby in two weeks but of course that could be four if she goings over and I really want to be able to go and see them. If it snow's I will have to wait until it has cleared because she lives nearly three hours away!

Anyhow onto the matter in hand and that is a new challenge at My Time To Craft where we are challenging you to use 'Baubles' as your main image. As soon as I saw the challenge I immediately thought to use my Lili of The Valley 'Christmas Baubles' stamp which I love but that would mean colouring and my hands have not been up to that this week. So instead I made a card with my Silhouette Cameo.

I used the Lori Whitlock A2 Swing Card Christmas Ornament #50949 file but I resized it to make an A5 sized card. I also used patterned paper from the store to called Bright Bells Pattern #35645 by Jennifer Wambach. I used white hammered card for my base and for my ornament to give a bit of texture to it. It was quite hard to photograph so have added three photo's to show it in action. All other card stock is Bazzill

This is it when fully open, I will add a sentiment to the inside but haven't decided on one as yet.

This is it when swinging, I think one of the grandchildren will like this.
Supplies:-
Card Stock - Bazzill & Unknown Hammered White
Sentiment - Unkown Old Wooden Stamp

Wow that has got to be the shortest list of supplies lol.

That is all from me for today, we have the decorator coming tomorrow so have had to completely empty our second bedroom out and boy you don't realise how much is in a room until you empty it!

Have a lovely weekend all.

My Time To Craft 'Bunnies' Challenge

Good morning all.
I hope this finds you all well. Where are the weeks going, they seem to go by quicker and quicker each week.

I hope those of you going to Harrogate have a lovely time, I would of loved to of gone but there is no way I could walk around there at the moment with my back and legs being so bad and when I am in my wheelchair you just cannot see anything plus I always feel in the way of others.

Anyhow onto the matter in hand it is time for a new challenge at My Time To Craft and this week the challenge is 'Bunnies' so we need to see a bunny on your creation somewhere.

For my card I was going to use my freebie bunny from whimsy that you may remember I used a few ago but I found this little cutie from Crafty Sentiments that I have had for a couple of years now. I really enjoyed colouring this, it was quite therapeutic lol do you love colouring when it all goes to plan and you like the finished effect? I used those ever popular Papermania Spots & Stripes papers again, a bit of lace from my stash and a few gems. The mat layer that the bunny is sitting on was cut on the Silhouette Cameo and was one part of three different frames designed by Jennifer Wambach and sold in the Silhouette Store.

6" Square Card Blank - Boyes
Card Stock - Bazzill
