Danke x 3

After our return from Germany I needed 3 Thank You cards which I would like to share with you today.

Stamps: Rubbernecker (background), Inkadinkado (dragonfly, butterfly)
Dies: My Favorite Things (letters)

Stamps: My Favorite Things (flower background)
Dies: My Favorite Things (letters)

Stamps: Inkadinkado (dragonfly)
Dies: Alexandra Renke (flowers), My Favorite Things (letters)

As you can see I took advantage of the perfectly lined up letters on the tape and used them on all three cards! I really love Alexandra Renke's style and got more from her while I was in Germany. Did you know that you can buy her stamps, dies, paper, and embossing folders now also at Ellen Hutson, Simon Says Stamp or Starlitstudio? And no, unfortunately I don't get paid for mentioning this...

This last card works for the current

SSS Monday Challenge (Transparent) / Mother's Day

Made another Mother's Day card and since I used vellum it get's to play over at Simon Says Monday Challenge "Transparent"

Thought the butterfly needed a little shimmer so I painted it with this shimmer paint that I got years ago at a stamp convention. The vellum tag I hand cut.

Thanks for checking in! Hope you will be back! (I have another transparent idea and hope I have time to realize it before the deadline!)

Hugs,
Susanne

Stamps: Rubbernecker (Wildflower background on green tag), Inkadinkado (words)
Dies: Memory Box (butterfly)
Other: Stampin' Up (green tag, old olive card stock), My Mind's Eye (patterned paper), Yasutomo (shimmer paint)

Happy Fall Birthday

Hello again!

First, let me thank you all for your kind comments for this card! I am so glad you liked it and that you took time to let me know!

And since you liked the last fall card, I have another one for you. I made it for the little bookstore that sells a few of my cards.

It is pretty self-explanatory, I think, but if you have any questions, please let me know. I don't know if you can see that I punched tiny maple leaves from the patterned paper and put them on the tree. Also some of the leaves I glittered.

I am very happy to be able to welcome 4 new followers! Please check out their blogs for they are all longtime bloggers and you will find tons of inspiration there.

Thank you, ladies, for following a total beginner who is still trying to figure out this blog thing. And here is a quote for you from Mother Theresa, whom I admire greatly:

Every act of love is a work of peace no matter how small.

Have a great day and make some time to create!

Susanne

Stamp: Rubbernecker (tree), words unknown
