Coffee Lover's Hop - Sixth Post

I think I'm done now, ha!  It is National Tea Drinker's Day today, so in it's honour, I made a Christmas card using Verve's new Santa and Coffee digital set for the 2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  It comes with not only the tea sentiment, but a cocoa one, and two coffee ones - so scroll down to see all of them.  I was really inspired by this darker patterned paper from Fancy Pants - love it:

Patterned papers are Fancy Pants Designs; Stamps are Verve Santa & Coffee; Copic Markers.

The Challenge is back!

It's been a busy summer... and a little slower here on my blog.  I've done a lot of crafting, but mostly behind the scenes, and not a lot that I could post (yet!)... so I am very happy to be able to participate in a few challenges this week.  I've put together a set of tea-themed cards for a coworker, so I'll share them over the next few days.  First up is for The Challenge on Lesley Croghan's blog with a sketch:

Patterned papers are Urban Prairie, by Basic Grey; Stamp set is One Cup by Verve; Tilda Swirl and Cups of Cheer dies from Memory Box; Stitched Banner and Circle STAX dies from My Favorite Things;

A Tea card

You may know that I'm a huge coffee card fan... but I've also been known to have a cup of tea or two.  This Verve stamp set has the best sentiments, so I was very excited when it arrived in the mail last week!  I've used Sketch 1 for June on the Viva La Verve Sketch blog, along with the July inspiration from the Verve blog:
Patterned papers are Sunkissed by Doodlebug Designs; Cardstock is Black, White Daisy, Glacier & Cashmere, Close To My Heart; Stamp set is One Cup, Verve; Ink is Onyx Black by Versafine; Circle STAX die, My Favorite Things; Cup die, is Cups of Cheer by Memory Box; Honeydew Baker's Twine, The Twinery; Gumdrops by Your Next Stamp.

Freshly Made Sketches & Inspired By

I made a card for two challenges this morning... I am using sketch #238 at Freshly Made Sketches, and am playing along with this week's Inspired By All the Little Things lovely teacup photo that Tracey McNeely chose:
I used one die and three Verve stamp sets, and decided to move the sentiment to the top corner to balance things off a little.  I popped up the entire white panel as well.  Here was our inspiration photo:

And the sketch:
Patterned papers are Bundle of Joy by Echo Park, and Wings by Close To My Heart; Stamp sets are Better Together, Sweet Treats and Coffee by Verve; Leafy Sprigs dies by Verve; Inks are Orchid Bouquet by Close To My Heart; Rich Cocoa by Memento & Onyx Black by Versafine;  Licorice Opaque Pearls by Close To My Heart; Flowers from my stash.

Inspired By All the Little Things

We are having our first Inspired By All the Little Things challenge now that it has it's very own blog & design team!  Lesley is our hostess this week, and has chosen this lovely inspiration photo:
 I was inspired by the colours, and the tea - and of course the overall spring-like feeling!  I even tried to fit a butterfly in there, but it was a little overkill... so here is what I've come up with:
I paired up some brand new Echo Park papers that I just bought yesterday, along with two different Verve stamp sets.  I popped up the circle with the teacup, and let it hang over the edge just a touch.  I also added a little zigzag stitching to finish things off.  We hope you'll join us and play along over on the Inspired By blog - the wonderful Amy Tsurata is this week's guest designer, and the whole Design Team is playing along.  You have until next Friday to link up your creation.

Patterned paper is Spring, by Echo Park; Cardstock is Glacier, Pear & White Daisy, CTMH; Ink is Rich Cocoa, by Memento; Stamp Sets are Better With You and Coffee by Verve; Copic Markers.
