You are my Happy
This is another wonderful stamp from the Buzz & Bumble Workshop on the Go. I'm working on building up my generic stash of birthday cards, so this one should fit the bill. I've used this week's sketch from The Paper Players, and the colours from The Play Date Cafe:
Patterned papers are The Sweetest Thing, My Mind's Eye; Cardstock is Slate & White Daisy, CTMH; Stamp set is Buzz & Bumble, CTMH; Ink is Sorbet, CTMH; Spellbinder's die; Twine is American Crafts; Button & papers are Key Ingredients kit, Taylored Expressions.

Play Date Cafe #150
I haven't done a colour challenge in a while... and loved this week's colour palette from The Play Date Cafe:
My lighter colour was a little more peachy than caramel... but here was our inspiration:
Patterned papers are Lost & Found, Rosy by My Mind's Eye; Cardstock is Cocoa & Colonial White, CTMH & Bazzil peach; Inks are Tulip & Cocoa, CTMH; STamp sets are Vintage Oval Frame & Blessings by Verve; Flower & Ribbon, Key Ingredients kit.

Patterned papers are Hello Summer, Echo Park; Cardstock & Ribbon, Key Ingredients kit; Dies are Charming Oval, Verve and Butterfly Duo, Taylored Expressions; Stamp, Verve; Ink is Rich Cocoa, Memento.

Play Date Cafe Challenge #98 & Heart2Heart Challenge
I couldn't believe that I had the absolute perfect papers for this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge! So I took the opportunity to get another Christmas card added to my pile. This week's Heart 2 Heart Challenge was to use our favourite colour combo, and while I can't say that I have an absolute favourite, I've always loved these papers, so that's what I'm going with!
Stamp set is Glad Tidings, Verve; Sweet Scallop Tag die, Verve; Patterned papers are Aspen; Cardstock is Outdoor Denim, Creme Brulee & White Daisy; Inks are Twilight & Outdoor Denim; Creme Brulee marker; Outdoor denim organdy & Bigger Brads; Snowflake buttons - all CTMH.

Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #25 & Play Date Cafe #96
When I saw this week's Sketchbook Saturday sketch, instead of flowers, I saw snowflakes? And when I saw how soft and pretty this week's Play Date Cafe colours were... I decided to combine the two challenges:
My card is 5 1/2" square:
Patterned papers are DCVW; Pearls are Michaels; Stamp set is Nature's Gift; Ink is Grey Wool; Cardstock is Colonial White; Ribbon is Ivory Organdy - all CTMH.

Play Date Cafe Challenge #86
This card makes me SO happy! It's not my best card (by a long shot), or the fanciest... it's actually kind of plain, and average. But - everything I used to make this card is at least 2 or 3 years old... so I'm using up my stash, and that makes me SO happy! It's easy to make projects with all of your newest goodies, but this hobby does tend to make the supplies pile up, and digging out the old stuff is much less inspiring. This week's Play Date Cafe colours fit these papers perfectly:
Patterned papers are Best Friends Forever; Cardstock is Twilight & Colonial White; Stamp set is A Little Everything; Inks are Hollyhock & Sunset; Summer & Fall buttons - all CTMH.

Play Date Cafe Challenge #81
This week's Play Date Cafe colour combo was a bit off-beat for me! But it's a gloomy, rainy day here, so it fit my off-beat mood perfectly :o) I didn't have the perfect patterned paper for this one... so I made my own with the Wings Workshop on the Go stamp set as my background. Making this card has cheered me up considerably (or maybe it's the fruity rum drink that my husband brought me while I was working!) either way, I love the outcome:
Stamp sets are Wings, WOTG & State of Mind; Cardstock is Grey Wool, Pansy Purple & White Daisy; Inks are Grey Wool & Kiwi; Pansy Purple Just Blooms paper flowers; Key Lim Bigger brads; Rhinestones, Michaels.

A Combined Grind Challenge!
This week, the Play Date Cafe has teamed up with the CASE Study Challenge blog for a "Combined Grind" challenge... we're using the PDCC#69 colours of red/green/black... with the inspiration of the CASE muse Eva Dobilas for our design:
So I pulled out the gorgeous Mistletoe papers from Making Memories, and used one of my new Verve stamps to make this:
Patterned papers are Making Memories, Mistletoe; Black cardstock & ink is CTMH; Twine is Martha Stewart; Stamp set is Text Objects from Verve; Nestabilities die. Here's a closeup of my flower:

Mojo Monday #176 & PDCC66 colours
Ever had a card take days to come together?? This one did... I definitely wanted to do this week's Mojo sketch, was intrigued by the Play Date Cafe colours (a splash of purple) and finally tried my hand at making some paper flowers! (Using Tracey Mason's instructions of course...). I also cased my fellow design team member Corina's card from this week's H2H challenge - by clear embossing my damask background - love the look! Check it out:

Play Date Cafe Challenge #61
A Belated Merry Christmas to all of you... I haven't been able to post in about a week since I caught a cough/cold/sinus type thing a few days before Christmas, so was glad to be feeling well enough today to find some play time! The current Play Date Cafe Challenge has an interesting colour combo that I used to make a thank-you card that I need to send. Here is our inspiration:
Patterned paper is Vineyard Berry Fleur de Lis; Cardstock is Vineyard Berry, Moonstruck & Bamboo; Ink is Vineyard Berry; Stamp set is Gracious Greetings; - all CTMH; Spellbinders dies; Bling - Michaels.

Play Date Cafe Challenge #58
This was SOOO much harder than I expected it to be! Red & White - how hard can that be?? When I dug through my paper stash, and found that most of my holiday stuff was red/white&green... or distressed red & cream... I became quite determined to do a fairly pristine red & white card :o) So I went with some Jingle patterned papers, taught myself how to make a folded medallion, and pulled out the sewing machine. Even though I quite like my card, it's not Christmassy enough for me... I may glitter it up a bit. Here's our Play Date Cafe inspiration:
Patterned papers are Jingle; Cardstock is White Daisy & Tulip; Stamp sets are Evergreen & Just for the Holidays; - all CTMH.

Play Date Cafe Challenge #50/Waltzingmouse Sketch #18
Only a couple of days left in this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge... so I was glad to finally put together this little Christmas card using some not-so-typical holiday colours. Here was our inspiration:
Cardstock is Smoothie, Pear, White Daisy; Inks are Clover Meadow, Citrus Leaf, Pear, Desert Sand; Stamp Set is Evergreen; Sparkles; - all CTMH.
And my card also works for this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge:

Play Date Cafe Challenge #48
After viewing the cards that have already been posted for this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge, I was inspired by Debbie Carriere's choice to use Moonstruck with Pear & Grey Wool. I had planned to go with Navy, but Moonstruck makes a much prettier colour combo. Here was our inspiration:
I pulled out my 'bug, and kept it pretty simple:
Cardstock is Moonstruck, Grey Wool, Pear & White Daisy; Ink is Grey Wool, Stamp Set is Cherish the Moment; Brads are Clover Meadow & Dutch Blue Bigger Brads - all CTMH; Prima Flowers.

Play Date Cafe Challenge #46
Whoa! This week's Play Date Cafe Challenge started out as a simple card idea and morphed into something completely different! Our inspiration was black, white & a pop of colour - so I chose pink. I definitely wanted to do a wallpaper background, and after changing my sentiment a couple of times, out came the flowers and it turned out much more 'bridal' looking than I intended (I blame all the PDCC designers who had a bit of a bridal thing going on this week...) As always, I'm very happy to have come up with something that is outside of the box for me. So here is our jumpstart photo, and what I created:
Pink flowers are Prima, ribbon Michaels, everything else is CTMH: Stamp sets are State of Mind & Damask Tiles; Cardstock is White Daisy & Black; Ink is Black; Opaque Pearls; Just Blooms Paper Flowers.

Mojo Monday #155 & Play Date Cafe #45
I'm catching up on my challenges, so I've combined this week's Mojo Monday sketch, and the Play Date Cafe Challenge. The sketch is great:
And here is the colour inspiration from the Play Date Cafe:
I had to work really hard to put these colours together! I used my corner rounder to create the scallops, and thought that it worked pretty well. This is my 2nd post for today, scroll down to see my H2H card:
All supplies are CTMH: Patterned papers are Fleurs des Jardines, Vineyard Berry; Cardstock is Vineyard Berry, Goldrush & Bamboo; Stamp sets are Live Inspired & The Present; Vineyard Berry Organdy Ribbon & Eyelets; Bitty Sparkles.
