Snow day! Hooray!

Winter is officially here now. We finally got our first snow on Sunday, Nov. 8. Now, winter wonderland surrounds us and it has made the world around us so much brighter. We've had two sunny days after the snow. The sparkle of the snow is celestial. We were inspired to start putting up Christmas lights. Last year, I decorated one of our huge pine trees with 1200 white lights so it would sparkle outside. As I went to plug it in yesterday, I had faith and hope that it would light up. It lit! You should have heard me hollering: "woo hoo!" "Grandma, come and see! Come and see!" So, the motivation began and we got out all the Christmas decoration boxes yesterday. The magic begins. Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
