A Day Trip

Karl took a few days off of work and since we didn't go on a family vacation this year we went up to Idaho for a day trip. Our first stop was at Fort Hall in Pocatello.  There was a fort you could go look at and a replica of a western town and also a museum.
Here is the fort:

Western Town:

Had to get Karl's pic in front of the Drug Store.  Mr. Walgreens man!

People made from farm equipment.  The kiddos thought these were cool.

Apparently we didn't get any pics of the museum.

After that we drove up to BYU Idaho and walked around the campus.  We ate lunch at the food court.  Since they were between semesters there were only 2 places open to eat.  Afterward we went to the Rexburg Temple.  It is beautiful!

Karl wanted to get a pic of the house where my great great great grandfather died in Rexburg.  Still there and very cute.

On the way home we stopped at the Idaho Falls temple.  It is currently under renovation but the visitor's center was still open.  There was a sweet missionary couple there that was so good with our kids.

We stopped at Perkins on the way home for dinner.  Got home pretty late but it was a fun day.
