In June we had our cub scout day camp. Both Karl and I went to it. The boys had a lot of fun and were able to pass of a lot of things.
working on their craft. This was our first activity. After walking up the hill from where we all gathered to the craft area we realized one boy. We had all 16 at the bottom of the hill and then only 15 at the top. Karl and one of the other dads went to look for him while the rest of us got the others started on their craft. I thought they would be right back; I mean how far could he have gotten in such a short time, right? Well they didn't come back and didn't come back. We were started to get very concerned. Another dad went to look and after awhile I walked down the hill to see what was going on. The director of the camp had Karl in a car and they were driving around to all the different areas of the camp. I was so scared, we finally found him after a half hour of looking for him. Oh my goodness it was terrifying. After that Brigham was famous all over the camp. At every station they were like "Oh this is Brigham!" He had followed the red flag instead of the orange flag and was at the bb shooting. He didn't even realize he was lost. We were like "didn't you notice you didn't know anyone in the group?" Just so happy he was safe.
Next we did the rowboats. We had to have 2 adults per boat but we had enough that I didn't have to go in one so I stayed out and got some good pictures.
That's Karl in the scout hat, Matthew is next to him.
This activity they had to walk across a rope. They had some of the men leaders standing by it in case anybody slipped. Karl is on the far side.
Matthew was so nervous going across. But he did it and did a great job!
Everybody's favorite-the bb guns!!
Karl helping Matthew, this was the best angle I could get.
The boy in the red hat is Brigham, the one who was lost.
Bishop Jones

See Matthew's arrow on the target??
Karl decided to give it a try.
And yes, I had to try it too!
And then the bishop tried it!
