Can't forget my Ruby...

Ruby decided she didn't want her diaper on and was going to hide from Mommy....Love her hiding place!

Where did January go?? I can't believe how fast time goes! My darling Ruby turned 2 and has got the hands on the hips thing down pat. She is darling though and we love love love her. Mabry has been teaching Ruby how to hold up her 2 fingers and has been singing 'Happy Birthday' to Ruby in Chinese. It is the best!!
We were able to go play w/ Ruby's future husband...Ro-Ro the other day. While the moms were fixing treats we looked over and saw Rubes and Ro-Ro getting to know each other...wink wink. Ro's mommy grabbed her camera and took this cute shot. So I guess since we have already pre-arranged their wedding and it is obvious that they like each other...they will have parental supervision until the day of their wedding!! tehee. Thanks for the fun @ 'The Black Hole'. We love you guys!

Where is Ruby??

Oh where oh where has my little girl gone??? Oh where or where can she be??? I was changing her bottm, sat her down and turned around... Oh where Oh where can she be???(name that tune)...
So I put Rubes down to clean up her changing pad... I will spare the details on this... and my little butterball headed right outside. Of course now that I am in full on 'blog mode' I grabbed my camera and took some fun pictures of what I saw.
She bolted for the back door but at least had time to grab some of Savvy's dog food on the way out. Isn't she precious!!








Rubes loves to play outside and apparently doesn't mind being w/out diaper on the slide! Love you Rubes!!

So Ruby found yet another cupboard to empty...this time it is DVD's. She is such a busy little one.

So Ruby has found where Savvy's water dish is - that is her favorite thing to go for. So this is what happens when I put the dog dishes where she can't reach them. Isn't she the best!!

Crawling Ruby

On a lighter and not so emotional post...
It is official...Rubes is a crawler. One problem she has is that she gets stuck under things...she will just put her head down on the floor and yell out every so often until someone comes to her rescue. Silly Rubes!

This was a fun family night for us. We actually stayed for the whole thing and had a great time.

Sick - Sad - Short

So today I am sick, I feel sad and for some reason really short!?!
I am sick and don't want to be @ work (specially for 10 hours - gripes).
I am sad cuz Ruby is going to an actual babysitter for the first time today. I am so glad to have found a babysitter that I know will love her but this just makes me not want to be @ work even more. Did that make sense? I am grateful for the babysitter but I would rather be home w/ her. (Hey - I never said this blog would be happy all the time)

I am short cuz that is just how God and my parents made me (I will have to give my mother credit for the short part though - thanks mom). :)
