Graphic 45 2020 Brand Ambassador Audition

 Hello everyone,

Welcome to my  "Graphic 45 2020 Brand Ambassador Audition"  post. Its around the same time last year finally i overcame all my hesitations and decided to try my luck in brand ambassador audition  and it still feels like a dream when i saw my name on G45 blog in the list of Brand ambassadors 2019-20.Its an amazing and easy team to work with and i thoroughly enjoyed my first year with them.I would like to continue working with the gorgeous Graphic 45 products for one more year,so here is my project and tutorial i prepared for the audition

I made a  paper suitcase and mini album using my very favorite "Sun kissed" collection.I guess i am hoarding these papers for more than two years, absolutely love the colors in this collection. Finally i felt its the best time to make a project with it.This project is super cute, fun and easy to make, the box measure 4 by 5 inches and it holds a mini accordion album measuring 3 1/2 by 41/2 inches.

Tutorial:

Take a card stock measuring  5 by 12 inches and score them at 4", 5 1/4", 9 1/4" and 10 1/2 " on the long side. You will have 1 1/2" inches flap at the end, apply glue to it and stick it to the 4" side
For the box take card stock measuring 6 3/8 by 7 3/8 and  score at 1 1/4 inches on all sides.Make a slit on all four sides, apply glue to the corners and stick them together.
Decorate the box and lid with pattern papers. While decorating the box remember to add pattern paper only to the top and bottom and not to the sides or it will be difficult to slide in the box.Add a brad or button to the top of the box to act as as handle
Now to make it look like suitcase we need to add some straps and handles. For the strap take two pieces of 1/2" by 12" strips in card stock and two pieces of 3/8" by 12" in pattern paper, adhere them together.
Mark one inch from the sides and adhere the strap to the box.Start from the center and go all around the box, while going over the edges pinch them to give neat finish.
For the handle take 1" by 6" of cardstcok and  7/8" by 6 inches of pattern paper, adhere them together.Score at once inch on both the sides, using a bone folder or scissors curve the center part.
Your handle must look like this.Add glue to the one inch part and stick it to the top of the box

For the buckles take two pieces  0.5 by 1.5 of card stock patter paper slightly lesser than that, glue it to the center of the strap as shown

For the corners take four pieces of  1 inch circle ,cut them into half and fold them into half again.Add glue and adhere it to all the corners on both sides.

Add two big size half pearls on top,you can also add buttons or brads instead.
To make the album you need two pieces of cardstock, one measuring 4 1/2 by 10 1/2 and another one measuring 4 1/2 by 11 inches.Score them at every 3 1/2 inches on the long side.you will get a half an inch flap on the longer one,add glue and stick both of them together

Cut pattern papers(12 pieces) measuring 3 3/8 by 4 3/8 inches and adhere it to each panel .Decorate the album with coordinating stickers, tags and wooden embellishments
So here is my completed project
To decorate the box and the album i have used layers of wooden embellishments, chipboard die cuts and lots of fussy cut elements from the paper pad

I hope you all enjoyed the tutorial and the project, wish me luck and keep your fingers crossed for
me :))

"Thank you Graphic 45 team for this amazing opportunity and taking time to review my project".
