my mind's in a mess now. dont know what to expect when i go back tmr. certainly i'll be looking forward to seeing the old faces all over again.. those whom i've not seen for almost two years.. i wonder how they are doing now, esp those who're working and all. yet i am not looking forward to seeing those faces that i DONT WANNA SEE EVER AGAIN.

and the added responsibility comes in too. apparently my position has been upped and i am totally clueless as what i will be doing.

and not to forget, back to the old life again.

why bother packing something that we wont need to use?

and for goodness sake it's not something light. it amounts to more than 10kg i am very sure. we wont be using it for the whole week, so why bother bringing it in? waste my energy and waste space. i could have settled for 1 x crumpler for 1 whole week, trust me.

and your answer to my question.. for unity sake. it's so stupid. yes yes unity is important, but for your information we are talking about whether it's necessary to do extra stuff. yes i know we need it on sat, i will bring it on sat. but from mon to fri? look at the programme and you'll know for youself. your answer is far from convincing.

i wonder why some things do not change. inefficiency within the organisation itself.

i foresee im gonna lug the whole luggage in, stuff it under my bed, and then lug the whole luggage out on friday, without touching the contents AT ALL.

i know the day hasn't been going well for you. especially today's your very special day and it turned out to be like that. but the day is almost gonna be over! let's endure for a while more and then you can get your well-deserved rest. and for whatever happened today, take it all on your stride. some pple are just damn hard to please, just let her do the way she wants it to be, at least it's gonna be over, like tmr!!

work so far has been boring. no one wants to come to the carnival at all! so i have been standing there for 10+ hrs a day.. swatting flies.. looking at air, and hoping that someone will come and look at clothes.

and oh for goodness sake, when you messed up the clothes while trying to look for your size, can you pls have the courtesy to AT LEAST attempt to fold back the clothes.. you know like action action that kind, at least we will appreciate. better than just leave the clothes lying down there. for your information, we are retail assistants, not MAIDS.

oh oh and to present you with my 3 most irritating responses from the customers:

me: hi sir/mdm, would you like to take a look at our clothes?
customer: ok, look only, don't want to buy.

me: good afternoon/evening, wanna take a look at our clothes?
customer: WHAT'S SO GOOD ABOUT AFTERNOON/EVENING

and my most hated response:

i was talking to a bunch of male teenagers who were looking thru the clothes..

you are sitting in a train.
here comes an old lady and you kindly stand up to offer your seat to her.
as you do so she smiles at you and kindly waves back, signaling she doesnt need the seat.

(aww that's so nice of the lady)

then as you turn behind you realise that someone sneaks upon your back and took the seat which was meant for the old lady.

and it's at city hall and you have to stand all the way back to sembawang.

note that you have been standing for the past 12 hrs due to an event at suntec. and this happens.

the rest of the days were spent to nurse my cough. but my body doesnt seem to get better. sigh

just as i thought i could spent monday slacking i had to receive a call.. the caller said i had to attend some meeting. there goes my monday. and the number.. holy number. didnt like it since 2 years ago.

to continue where i left off..

we went for kellyn's bday party last sat, and as we left NSRCC we didnt see any shuttle or cabs so we decided to walk out till we hit the main road. after a while we reached a T-junction; we didnt know where to go.. left or right. just then, leonard and i saw a bus stop on the right. or rather, we thought we saw a bus stop. so the 3 of us decided to head right.

and what a decision it was..

for those who knew the area well, turning right was a nono. we shld have turned left where we wld have hit xilin ave.. but NOO we turned right and ended up along the changi airport runway! OMG do you know how long that place was.. it seemed never ending!

we started walking that stretch of bloody long road at.. 10pm.. we were still walking at.. 11.30pm. it's nothing compared to route march i know, but i am wearing my sandals which caused my little toe to hurt every now and then.. grrrr. who am i blaming. we saw the bus stop. WHAT BUS STOP!?!? we were obviously hallucinating.

luckily mr bay did the right thing to call his parents. at 11.30pm his parents came.. we were still along the stretch of road. as we hopped into the car.. we realised the car took an additional 10 mins to hit into an area of civilization. just imagine.. the car going at an average speed of 60km/h needing 10 mins to get out of that stupid stretch of road. what about us? we'll probably take another 2+ hrs to walk out of this area..

what a walk it was. terrible.

the next day my sole was aching thanks to the sandals that i wore.

seriously it's getting abit hot around here nowadays. imagine me couldnt sleep for 1 night because of the hot weather, and turning on the conditioning didnt help at all. ARGH.

there's test tmr. which i think i am going to start studying now (btw it's 10pm). HURRAY!

exams are coming. 3 more weeks. and i had to be addicted to bejewelled at this point in time. omg lah what a way to study for exams. read abit play 20 rounds of bejewelled = 20 mins gone.

and the weather is so hot, i have been drinking at least 1 can of beer everyday! must. stop. drinking. beer. everyday. otherwise i will start to grow a belly soon.. and must start to train up for IPPT... i ran just now. timing so cui.. soo cui..

ok enough of ramblings. gonna start drowning in oceans again!

i tell myself that i will update. but everytime i come to this page, the next moment i will close the tab cus i have nothing to blog about. that's the life during midterms.. wait. what life?

bad news have been coming.. things that are unexpected and all. hope everything will be fine in the end in june. as for now i dont really wanna think about it until everything's certain. work has been piling in, 2 more tests which will end at the end of the month, and loads of backlog to clear.

luckily i have 蜡笔小新 to accompany me whenever i am bored. ha!

yesterday was one of the most irritating days (and nights) ever. i woke up alright but after drinking the yuan yang that my mom bought, i started having unintended chills and all. must be the potent effect of caffeine. then my headache came back and lasted until the night. oh wells.. wondered how i managed to live through the day.

and seriously there's someone i feel like stabbing. thanks to his homework i was made to stare at 1 question for bloody 1 hr, wondering where i went wrong and how come nothing seems to make sense. you good.. and i am seeing you tmr. oh man

the headache finally subsided at night. dinner was wonderful; i stuffed myself with popiahs. i thought everything would change for the better until i stepped out of the bus and heard pple cheering during the man u-liverpool match. 4 - 1. what a score! damnit.

so just as i thought the day and night were bad and i could finally have a good night sleep.. i have insomnia.

it's the 7th day of march.

when i started this blog i told myself no matter how busy i am i must try to write an entry on the 1st day of every month. but it seems impossible now given my crazy (yet boring, so ironical) school life.

2 papers down, 3 more left. but it still seems so long before all the papers end.. like whut? the end of the month? sucks. i am so looking forward to the end of the month when we finish our 1161 test. and of course the thursday before, which is our games day. hope everything goes well for the event.

there are alot of things which happened but somehow, either i dont remember what has happened (aka everything was in a whirl), or i have serious mental block when it comes to blogging. i believe it's the latter. lemme recall what happened this week..

this has been one of the longest weeks i have had in school so far. monday was 8am to 9pm i think? after including dinner and all. went for econs consultation after school which lasted until 8pm. then tuesday was 8am to 10pm. 14 hrs in school. and i had to come back on my free day for econs paper, so wednesday was from 2 to 9pm after dinner. 7 hrs in school. thurs was 8 to 6 (usual routine - 10 hrs), and friday was 10 to 6 (8 hrs). which sums up to a freaking 50 hrs in school. this is worse than the 44 working hours/ week that the average working adult is "suffering". and not to forget the 2 hr to-and-fro trips to school per day. which makes it 60 hrs spent going to NUS, staying in NUS, and coming home from NUS out of 120. effectively i have spent 50% of my week in school. that sucks!

so much to say, yet so little words can come out of my mouth.

i just wanna say i am sorry for what i said yesterday. my brain wasnt thinking and all (ok what a stupid excuse). i just felt like i am the greatest fool ever.

the next time i go ubin, it will not be in singlets and fbts. i have a great itch thanks to all the mozzies who patronized my skin -_- and sadly my tan is gone! sad.

recess week seemed much shorter this sem as compared to the previous. as usual, so many things to study, so little time. and i keep ending up in facebook playing geo challenge, trying to emerge triumphant but to no avail :( 2 tests next week.. econs and physical. save me. there seemed to be rumours that there's lsm midterms. can someone pls enlighten me? i cant seem to find the dates on ivle. and i havent touched my lsm cause i thought there would be no tests!

ubin trip was fun and a well-taken break from all the mugging for midterms. i am glad that the weather managed to work out fine with us for most of the day.. until late in the evening where it started to downpour badly. but it's okay cause we have covered quite a distance. and dinner was great, though a little expensive.

today's mock games day's not bad. though the turnout was not as high as expected but i am glad to see that our comm members had their fair share of fun while playing the 5 games. looking forward to the actual event and hope that it'll be a great success.

i think everything's so good so far, till last night where i received my saf100. good game. back to the great old times of smelling grease, dust and dirt again.
