just came back from DnD. didnt really take alot of photos this time round cause i didnt bring my camera. kinda regretted it, but i had no choice cause my parents needed the camera this time round. either that, or i am really gonna buy a phone with a better camera this time round. my cybershot is totally malfunctioning. there are some photos taken with my phone. really precious ones. but too bad the lens were out of focus. otherwise it would not have been so blurred.

next time, if i am going for DnD (i think most probably i am), i am so gonna rent a costume, depending on the theme. hopefully there will be people going with me and they are willing to rent costumes as well. cause i think it really is damn fun and hopefully we are able to get the best dressed award LOL.

lectures are getting more and more confusing than ever. esp with johny mumbling to himself every now and then. if there's a survey on us commenting on our lectures i am so gonna write an essay about him. lol

and tutors are supposed to be my friends! but my math tutor is.. ah forget it. go and attend my tutorial and you know. just say i feel that i learnt more with prof chew. YOU ARE THE MAN!

had lunch with june and nelson yesterday. it was their last day in SMRT (like finally.. after 6 months). apparently alot of things happened after i left, and it has something gotta do with resignation. now even the manager who brought me in has resigned. this is ridiculous. that place is seriously not for work man. i wish the rest who are still there all the best in their future endeavours. and also for june who's pursuing her studies and nelson who's gonna enlist soon.

walle was nice. i liked it. the animation was cool and it was not an any other kid's show. there's meaning to it. just imagine what would it be like after 700 years from now. will our earth be the same as what is depicted in the movie? and also. imagine 700 years from now, humans are controlled by what used to be controlled by humans - robots. it's really some issues worth pondering. too bad that my mind was partially distracted by some stuff.

DnD later. what should i wear? perhaps i should just find my jc prom and try to fit into it. ha!

this is not exactly something that is comforting, especially when you still dont know what is going on during your lectures. hope 1101 and 1111 really get easier to understand soon. otherwise i am going to pengkui :(

outing today was fun, at least it was a breather for me from the piling workload and all the stuffs that i had to revise. the part at mind's cafe was ok. it was after the mind's cafe outing where the few of us went to paradiz arcade and then to x zone arcade to play basketball and daytona.

and at the end of the day we even took a neoprint. lol. now i am waiting for haidai queen to upload the neoprints to us. i cant believe i am taking neoprints at this age lol..

i am still reading my notes and not getting any sense. i really must make good use of the tutorial sessions from next week!

but i am having a fever so i am skipping school today. 3 lects! what the hell, really have alot to catch up already.

good thing for maths is that kopikia posts his lecture reviews online after every lect. which is a good thing; if i dont know anything i can just refer to his online notes.

as for sci of music, PM lee only posts his lecture notes after he has completed his lecture. to me, it is the same as not attending the lects :P

for nanoworld, i dont understand what is going on.. so yea!

haha!!!

anyway my fever has subsided, which is a good thing. hope i can recover totally by sunday to go for og outing!

i have forgotten to blog about one major thing that happened in school.

after week 1 in school, this is what i have gained:

this is my left bicep. APPARENTLY AFTER 1 WEEK IN SCHOOL I GET BLUEBLACK ON BOTH MY BICEPS! this is not supposed to be happening. this is absolutely a case of torture and bullying in school!

1st week of school has ended, and oh my it sure was tiring. having to cope with 2 days of 8am to 8pm lects were certainly not helpful.

but of course, it was the weekends that i was certainly looking forward to. and i definitely didnt regret signing up for night rider 2008! it was the 1st for me to cycle at night. as you all know (and even if you dont know you will know by this post) that i cant really see well at night. so this is actually quite a challenge for me. and together with my "wonderful" cycling skills.. it was definitely a night not to be missed.

the distance was pretty comfortable. from ECP to kallang indoor stadium, then towards VCH area and then to timbre. after which it was a ride to lau pat sat for supper, and then off we went to geylang for tauhuey and youtiao and then we headed back to ECP to end our journey. it was supposed to be an easy and comfortable event. however, the fact that it was my 1st time cycling on public roads, the fact that i cant see well at night and i cant cycle properly made this seemingly easy stuff challenging.

but nevertheless i managed to complete the whole route safely, without any injuries. HURRAY! and we really enjoyed ourselves very very much.

the only bad thing is that my butt is aching ever since i got off my bike. and i dont think it's gonna heal anytime soon :(

ah.. 2nd week of school. cant wait for the weekends to come again!

5.30pm - 2nd lunch
9.30pm - dinner

let's see what i ate on wed:

6.00am - breakfast
10.30am - brunch
5.30pm - 1st dinner
9.30pm - 2nd dinner.

so for a total of 2 days i ate 9 meals. and mind you it's not 9 meals of small quantity.. i ate as much as i would for the normal 3-meal-per-day..

i am seriously turning into a pig. hahaha!

okie i need to rush for lecture! bbye!

1st day of lectures ended yesterday. and man.. the 4 hour lectures felt as though it had been forever.

CM1101 was totally not chemistry at all. instead it covered one of my least favourite physics topic ever.. quantum physics. all the stuff abut Bohr trying to find a reason to account for the discrete emision/absorption lines, and de-Brogile koping Bohr's idea to find the quantum number.. it's so zzZ

CM1111 was nowhre better. no cmments, but i didnt understand what hte prof was talking about!

i am having MA1421.. the lect is so so. very tired.. so i am blogging to keep myself awake. and zhixin, stop pinching me!

anyway, school's starting. and i have a sucky timetable for the 1st 3 weeks at least.
my tues and friday are totally effed up. 8am to 10am, then break till 4pm and lects till 8pm.

SOW is over and school's starting in 2 days. as much as I am looking forward to school again (obviously after so long), the apprehension and anxiety starts to set in, especially if you are unsure if you are able to cope with the workload especially after not studying for so long.

a) -looks at flaggers with a blur face and give the blur grin- har i dont understand what you are talking about (in english)
b) -puts hands inside pocket to feel for coins. sound of coins banging can be heard- sorry i dont have any coins with me now.

2) i feel like i am HIV positive. everyone just starts to avoid me when i show my metal tin at them.

3) i didnt know flag can be so tiring. but overall it's a meaningful event. i am glad i went for it!

back from SOW part 1. at least the bulk of the orientation week is gone. now it's left to talks, flag, rag and of course, more bidding.

speaking of bidding, it's 1 more mod to go. i got all my 4 mods that i bidded for.. all at 1 pt each. haha 596 bidpts left in my P account.. alright.

part 1 was alright. similar to scamp. played alot of stuffs and got ourselves tired by not sleeping early.. like 4am each day. but somehow, i cant seem to get myself high just like the other time. i dunno why.

the good thing is, i didnt incure any major injuries. nor did i get a major tanline or any sunburnt. i am really grateful for that.
