The Husband and I just came home from the hardware store, and I was doing some household chores when the phone rang. It was one of Kaiden's teacher; informing me that he fell over the garden bed and had a cut in his hand. They have washed it and put a bandage over it, though they did not clean it thoroughly because there seemed to be a piece of wood inside. She asked me if I can come down and have a look at it, though she thinks it will be fine because Kaiden does not seem to be bothered by it.
I drove to the school straightaway and found my little boy sitting and eating his snack in the office with his teacher. He showed me the cut. It was quite deep so I told the teacher that I will be taking Kaiden home.
I was amazed that they had this automated early departure slip. The Admin lady typed Kaiden's name and a receipt-looking machine printed out 2 slips, wherein I have to sign on one and gave me the other slip.
This was it:
And this was Kaiden's cut:
I washed the cut as gently as I can to get the dirt off. We then went to the mall. When we came home, Kaiden just watched DVDs till he fell asleep.
And for the first time, B and I tried cooking pork roast and veggies. I was not able to get photos of our savory dinner but it wasn't bad for first timers like us! Kaiden loved the veggies and the meat, mixed in with the gravy. Yummy!
Gorgeously . . .

oh my that looks painful. good thing K is a trooper and did not fuss about it.:)
hubby came for the holidays (that's when i got preggy ahahaha) and will be back home in December pa :(
oh well. gotta save up.
good thing it wasn't too bad... and how tough naman the little guy not to mind his cut that much.
oh! wawa naman. I hope the cut will heal sooner.
I think that serves as a security Sheng.. I mean the school is just being careful. Kids could be taken by malicious people and well, and for a lot of other reasons.
He's a brave kid, obviously though he is sooo sweet. ^^
That is one deep cut Mommy Sheng! But this is normal for kids. It's good to clean them before bandaging them and make sure no dirt or pieces of wood (and others) are left!
Glad to hear cutie Kaiden was not badly hurt. Such a brave little boy!
Happy Thursday Mum Sheng ^_^
hope kaiden is ok now. i would have freaked out if that happened to yogi. :(
He was not bothered by that?! If that happened to me, I would have probably cried my eyes out. :D What a brave little boy you have.
Cool, that slip actually looks like a receipt.
