Ski Break

It's Kaiden's Ski Break this week. A Ski Break without snow! I don't know why snow hasn't been showing here for weeks now. Probably hibernating somewhere!

I was watching tv in the bedroom last night when I suddenly felt hungry. I was about to go down when Kaiden woke up. He came with me downstairs and had something to eat as well. We went up and watched tv till I guess 1AM! He wasn't tired at all. I thought I will be getting up late this morning, but I was awaken by Hubby's call. He was already in Makati, particularly in Glorietta wandering around. I tried to call him but the line got cut up all the time, and he says it's very noisy there so he'll just call me from the airport.

I tried to bo back to bed but I couldn't sleep anymore. I went down, tidy up the place then had breakfast. I'm glad Kaiden slept in. I think woke up around 10AM.

We went to Spice this afternoon. We roam around for hours with of course, shopping on the side. Kaiden bought a long truck which he carried around the mall and played with it while I do my thing. We had dinner there as well. There's a kiddie area behind the food court where you can leave your child, and Kaiden wants to play there. But it was getting a bit late for us so I promised him next time. He didn't mind because he's busy with his new toy.

Here's the product of my shopping spree today. Yesterday's loot were already in the washing, wasn't able to take a photo of it.



I hope Kaiden won't get bored here for the rest of the week. He was looking for his constant playmate, but Clara and her parents went to Switzerland to ski. Now, that is really going for a Ski Break! Even if we wanted to go away, we can't because Hubby will just be coming back tomorrow. And for sure he'll be loaded with meetings left and right till Friday, since he was away last week. I should have bought some game boards to play with. I got occupied with shopping that I didn't think about that. Silly Mummy! Another excuse to drop by at the mall!
