Thanksgiving Party Favor

This is a perfect favor for your Thanksgiving Guests. If you will be a guest for Thanksgiving this is also a great hostess gift or contribution to the festivites.

First die cut the treat bag with AccuCut's Bag Treat Wrap (3-D) Crease Extra Long Cut Die. This die from AccuCut cuts and creases your project. Fold on crease lines. Double sided paper works best for this project. If you don't have double sided paper die cut 2 treat wraps and adhere the 2 back to back. We used Autum Plaid from American Traditions and Mango Orange Treasures Cardstock from WorldWin Papers.

Next fill a poly treat bag with Lindt Lindor Truffles. Place inside the treat wrap to determine how many Truffles you need to fill in your poly treat bag. Place the poly treat bag inside the Treat Wrap and make any necessary adjustments for your treats to fit in the wrap (more or less candy). Fold over the top of the poly bag and staple twice to secure the truffles in the bag. Next staple the poly back to the front side of your wrap. Before stapling make sure that the flap from the backside of the wrap will cover your staples. Next place adhesive on the tab on the backside of the wrap and adhere to the front of the wrap. You have now assembled your bag treat wrap.

Next design the header for your Treat Wrap. Cut a 3 1/2" x 1 3/4" piece of and dry emboss with cuttllebug textile embossing folder. Use a scalloped border punch to edge the paper. Cut a 3 3/4" x 2" mat from a piece of Deep Brown Treasure Cardstock-WorldWin Papers.

To create our flower we used Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Nestabilities. Die cut 3 different sizes of scalloped circles. To make your scalloped circles into flowers simply use scissors to cut between each scallop. Cut just far enough into the circle to make petals. Next fluff the petals of the flower and adhere layers together. Use the gid from any of your JustRite Stampers and your 6 pt small letters and write 2008. Use the smallest circle die from your Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities to die cut and emboss the image. Cut a mat circle from Mango Orange cardstock. Adhere both pieces to the center of the flower.

Create your Give Thanks Tag by using the smallest harmony rectangular stamper and design your verse using the 50 pt and 25 pt Times New Roman. Ink your stamp with Cosmic Copper Brillance Ink. Die cut tag from Spellbinders Tag 5. Scuff the edges with Cosmic Copper Brillance Ink.

Decorating Your Thanksgiving Table

With Thanksgiving just around the corner - it's time to think about sprucing up your Thanksgiving Table with a touch of paper crafting. These projects were designed by Kellie Fortin and are fast and easy.
Kellie started with the K & Company 12x12 Fall Harvest Thanksgiving Party in a Pad and then added a JustRite Twist. For the place card punch out the card from the paper pack. Next cut a slightly larger place card from Cinnamon Treasures from WorldWin and dry emboss with the houndstooth cuttlebug embossing folder. Then use the SU scalloped border punch to edge the sides of the cinnamon place card. Adhere to the interior of the place card. Add a Turkey punch out to the top of the place card. Using Petallic Gold Ore from WorldWin with brilliance ink and stamp the name of your guest using The Curlz Paper Crafting Font Ensemble. Use the flourishes from your font set to bracket the name. Next die cut your name plate using Spellbinders Tag Trio. Attach the name plate using brads.

The new JB 08160 Harmony Oval I Stamp Ensemble has the perfect sentiment and the perfect size oval to dress up the favor box in this party pad. "Happy Everything"

To design the Napkin ring holder sentiment use the JB 07275 6 pt small letter set on the outside border of your JB 08115 Harmony Classic Circle I stamper. (Note this is the only size wood block that will accept the 6 point letter set). Stamp with brillance ink on Gold Ore Petallics and die cut with Spellbinders Scalloped Circle Nestabilities. Die Cut a Scalloped mat from Cinnamon Treasures Cardstock and dry emboss.

What little things are you thankful for this year?

JustRite Thanksgiving Ideas

This week we will be showing you how to use your JustRite Products to design a fabulous table setting for your Thanksgiving festivities. Today we are featuring an Autumn Centerpiece designed by Angela Barkhouse. Last Christmas Splitcoast stampers had a tutorial on how to make a treat box out of paper. Angela took this concept and gave it a twist by adding an empty paper towel holder to the center of the treat box - transforming the treat box into a centerpiece.

For the basic instructions on how to create this treat box from 3 shees of 12 x 12 sheet of paper-

We used Cinnamon Treaures cardstock from WorldWin paper as our base and then cut 4 - 3" squares of Autumn Plaid (fold diagonally and cut into triangles(8)). Next cut out 4- 3" squares of Natures Patchwork. For complete instructions on how to construct the treat box visit:

Before you assemble your box, add the ribbon trim (May Arts) around the top edge of the box sides. Cut an empty paper towel roll to a 6" height. (note a empty toilet paper roll is to short).
Wrap the roll with American Traditions Autumn Plaid. Glue this to the center of the treat box. Next take a piece of ribbon and thread it through the holes in each side and tie it together.

After you have designed the basic treat box use your JustRite Stamps to design embellishments for each side of the box. Using Times Roman Font Ensemble (JB-08060) and the Harmony Classic Circle II Stamp Ensemble (JB-08120), spell out “AUTUMN’S PALETTE”, A FESTIVAL OF FALL COLORS”,

“HARVEST OF MEMORIES”, and “SHADES OF AUTUMN” onto ivory cardstock using Versamagic Red Magic and Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy. Alternate the designer borders from this set on your images.

Die cut each stamped image using Spellbinders circle Nestabilities. Then die cut 2 mats from golden rod cardstock (World Win) and 2 mats from olive green cardstock using Spellbinders circle scallop Nestabilities.

Adhere one stamped image to each of the 4 sides of the box.
Insert some Fall Foliage and you have a wonderful Fall centerpiece.
