Today is Michelle's last day as the JustRite Guest Blogger and we are so thankful for all the wonderful inspiration she has supplied all week. Her gift giving ideas were such a treat and source of great inspiration. This is also the last day to enter our Blog Candy contest and the winner will be announced tomorrow. Please see details at the bottom of this post. Make sure you keep coming back because we will start doing sneak peaks of our new product line starting on Monday, July 7th. Have a Happy 4th of July.
Every year we have a huge July 4th celebration at our house. We usually invite about 50 people and go all out with hamburgers, hot dogs, covered dishes, homemade ice cream and a HUGE fireworks display that lasts about an hour. It’s humid and hot, there are kids running around everywhere and it’s THE best time of the year.
This year I made Save the Date postcards as invitations. June and July are the busiest months for us because of ballgames, birthdays and summer time activities. So these little reminder cards are much appreciated by all of our friends.
To make the monogram emblem, I used the larger number 5 from the Medium and Large Numbers Monogram Set from JustRite Stampers.. I also used the small letters for the *save the date* and *6:30 pm* border. Our party this year will actually be held on July 5th, just in case you think I made an error on the date. I cut out the stamped portion with a circle Spellbinder’s Die Template and mounted it on a scallop cut piece of blue cardstock.
For the postcard portion, I typed the information on my computer and printed the information on my printer. I thought the little banner from the Papertrey Ink set called It’s a Celebration would be perfect for the party invites. I used the pennants that had the stars in red and blue and also added a few stars here and there.
To assemble my final postcards, I adhered the white portion to a red background. I then added a fun polka dot strip of patterned paper at an angle and then topped that with the *save the date* monogrammed emblem. So now all the invites are sent, almost everyone we invited is coming and we’re finishing up the final details of the party! Stay tuned for photos from our party, it should be a great time!

Just A Note Stationary Set
From all the comments this week I get the sense you are in love with Michelle's JustRite designs. We are in love too. {wink} Today Michelle has prepared a wonderful stationary set and presents yet another great gift giving idea. Enjoy and click on any picture for a larger view.
To create the monogram, I used the round flower border from the JustRite Stampers Curlz DIY Monogram Stamper Kit along with the alphabet stamps and the Small Letter Set. I inserted the flower border into the outside groove of a wooden mount. By using the wooden mount, I am able to use any ink type or color that I choose and it’s very easy to work with. I then lined up the letters from the Curlz alphabet to spell *NOTE* in the center of the wooden mount. I added *just a* just above the word *NOTE* by picking out tiny letters from the Small Letter Set. I love how the wooden mount has so many grooves...this is where you line up all sizes of letters and numbers. The combinations you can put together are endless.
After stamping the monogram, I then cut, embossed and layered the image onto cardstock using my Spellbinder’s Die Templates. I added pop dots to the back of the stamped images. Then I created my card base by adding some cute owl patterned paper to the front of my standard A2 size card. I also added a horizontal strip of white cardstock which was stamped with polka dots. I adhered the monogram to the card front and then added some matching 3-D owl stickers to the top of the patterned paper.
I add some envelopes and tied the note cards up with some cute ribbon. These will be tucked into a gift sack for Josey’s birthday. She will LOVE them. And I’m guessing that Jordan will too......so good thing I stamped off some extra monograms. I think she’ll be excited too when I tell her she can make her own set of note cards!
Supply List
JustRite Stampers: Wooden Mount, Curlz DIY Monogram Stamper Kit, Small Letter Set
Paper: Stampin’ Up! Pink Passion cardstock, Papertrey Ink Stamper’s Select white cardstock, K and Company owl patterned paper and stickers
Ink: Stampin’ Up! Pink Passion
Other stamps: Papertrey Ink Polka Dot Basics

Today I’d like to show you a little stationery set that I made for my daughter Josey. She turns 11 soon and I’m sure she’ll get lots of fun presents from her friends and family. I have always encouraged my girls to send hand written thank you notes, so I thought these will come in handy for her. I can remember how much I loved stationery as a little girl. If my mother would have spoiled me with all of these cute creations when I was a child, I would have just fainted right there on the spot! I know Josey will enjoy having her very own set of note cards to use as thank you notes.
To create the monogram, I used the round flower border from the JustRite Stampers Curlz DIY Monogram Stamper Kit along with the alphabet stamps and the Small Letter Set. Recipe Cards
Sorry about the delayed post for today. Michelle had her's up before me because I accidentally deleted it. Yikes....human error. Sorry for the inconvenience and I am sure you are going to LOVE this set of recipe cards from Michelle. I loved them so much when she sent it to me that I already made a set for my mom. Bon Appetit!
Much to my delight, I was tickled when I saw that JustRite Stampers has a *from the kitchen of* stamp! You all know that I love to make my own recipe cards so this monogram stamp will get lots of use, I’m sure.
Today I created a simple 4" x 6" recipe card and used a wooden mount monogram stamper to assemble my monogram. I first inserted the *from the kitchen of* stamp into the wooden mount stamper. Then I picked out individual letters to spell *MISH* from the DIY Monogram Stamper Kit with the Curlz alphabet.
I was then ready to stamp! I stamped my image with red ink on white cardstock then cut, embossed and layered my stamped image with a Spellbinder’s Die Template. While I had my monogram all assembled, I went ahead and stamped several more so that I could keep them handy for future recipe cards. I added my monogram to my recipe card which is layered with the lined patterned paper and a horizontal strip of floral patterned paper. Voila, it was easy peasy.
I think the possibilities are endless with these personalized recipe card emblems. You can make up an entire set for yourself, make sets for gifts, or personalize a homemade recipe box. You could also add a stamped emblem to a homemade treat such as a giant brown packaged in a little box or a cute cellophane sack filled with homemade party mix. Or how about filling little canning jars with homemade dip mixes or jellies and attaching a monogram emblem to the top of the jar? My mind is just filling up with ideas! I can’t wait to use this stamp more!
Supply List
JustRite Stampers: Desk of/Library of/Kitchen of Borders, DIY Monogram Stamper Kit Curlz with wooden mount
Paper: Stampin’ Up! Real Red and River Rock cardstock, Cosmo Cricket floral patterned paper, Creative Imaginations Cream Line scallop patterned paper
Ink: Stampin’ Up! Real Red
Dies: Spellbinder’s

Bookmark With Card
Welcome back to JustRite Stampers. Please remember to leave some comments here for Michelle and let her know how much you are enjoying her projects. Today's project is another great gift giving idea. Also, make sure you check out the blog candy at the bottom of this post and tell your friends too!
To create the monogram for the bookmark, I used the *from the library* stamp from the Desk of/Library of/Kitchen of Borders JustRite Stampers monogram kit along with a wooden stamp mount. I inserted the *from the library* stamp into the outer circle of the wooden mount. I then inserted large and small letters from the Large Round Monogram Stamper kit to created the three letter monogram that uses my friends initials. I cut the monogram out with a Spellbinder’s circle die template and then adhered it to my handmade bookmark. I stitched on some red satin ribbon with my sewing machine.
To create the matching card, I used the same cardstock and patterned paper that I used for the bookmark. I cut and folded the solid cardstock to make the pocket portion of the card. I added some patterned paper and then stitched around the entire card to secure the pocket. This card is a standard size A2 card which measures 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". The bookmark slips inside the horizontal piece of cardstock which is attached only to the sides of the card with machine stitching. Another piece of solid cream cardstock slips into the pocket and will be used for my personal message.
I also stamped and cut out a few more monograms and backed them with double sided sticky squares so that my friend could add them to the inside covers of books, etc. I slipped them into a small, flat cello bag which will be inserted in the pocket. I can’t wait for my friend to start her new job and to use her new bookmark!

Today’s project is a personalized bookmark that slides into a matching pocket card. My friend Lori has taken the position of school Librarian next year at the high school. She is one of my best friends and customers so I thought this would be a cute and useful card to send to her when school starts this fall. She LOVES my handmade bookmarks and I am certain that she’ll be requesting more of these bookmarks when she sees this one.
To create the monogram for the bookmark, I used the *from the library* stamp from the Desk of/Library of/Kitchen of Borders JustRite Stampers monogram kit along with a wooden stamp mount. Patriotic Gift Ensemble
It's hard to believe that it's almost July 4th. Where does the time go when you are stamping up some fun. Michelle is starting out the week with a great personlized gift ensemble. We love how this idea can be created and personalized to match any theme! Enjoy and don't forget about our blog candy contest this week. Details are at the bottom of the post. Enjoy!
My mom’s birthday is July 1st and she LOVES patriotic decorations. For her gift this year, I found a cute ceramic dish decorated like a flag and filled it with some wonderful hand scrub and lotions. My mom loves my cards and decorations so I knew that I wanted to wrap her gift extra cute! I can guarantee that dish will have these curly ribbons and decorations on them for years to come. She never unwraps anything that I give her. She just takes out the goodies, rewraps stuff and sits it on her table! LOL!!
After I added a bunch of red, white and blue curling ribbon to the dish, I wanted to add a cute tag. So I reached for the JustRite Stampers Large Numbers Set and my teeny tiny letters from the Small Letter Set. I assembled the stamps onto a wooden mount to read *Happy 4th of July* and added some little * * * (stars) to fill in some white space. By using the wood mount, I was able to use a blue and red marker to get two colors on my stamped image. I finished the red, white and blue circle tag off with a red star eyelet and attached it to the dish with a piece of silver cord. A big red satin bow holds it all together. I then filled the dish with the hand spa goodies and added a bunch of shiny filler.
While I had my monogram all assembled, I stamped some additional monograms to make some cards. I used the same red satin ribbon and some cute patriotic patterned paper to make some super simple cards. I tucked these into the back of the dish as well.
I know my mom will love her gift this year. It’s so fun to create gift items that are tailor made for that special someone. And sometimes the packaging is what makes that gift even more special.
Thanks for visiting!
