Weaving sticks

The weaving sticks have small holes in the ends for the warp yarn - you can use more or fewer sticks depending on what you want to make. This was just a trial piece with a thick knitting yarn.

Weaving

I've always avoided weaving because some of the looms (the big ones) look so complicated but today a friend showed me how to use a peg loom and some weaving sticks. A whole new world of possibilities opened up!

These small pieces are made of wool tops, pulled and twisted slightly. I'm going to try using the embellisher on one piece and having a go with other materials. Plastic bags sounds promising!
