Wow...less than two weeks before Christmas! Is everyone ready? I know I'm not. We do a Secret Santa with all the adults in my family and I still have to order my Secret Gift. But at least I have my two younger nieces done. They are at the age where it's cash and gift cards. So gift cards are purchased and now to come up with a clever way to wrap them. And the house is almost decorated.
As always, you'll want to make sure to play along this week for a great prize, especially since this is our last Funday Friday of 2014. But we'll be back as soon as ole' Father Time rings in the new year with 2015.
Our sponsor this week Bugaboo and our theme is Happy Holidays!

Here is what I created for this week's challenge.
I know my teddy bear isn't colored yet but I realized I don't have the COPICS colors I want to use to color hiim in (E41, E43, E44). I have my COPICS club meeting tomorrow so I'll be purchasing them then so I can finish this little cutie :) I figured better to wait a day than to color it in and be unhappy with it forever....
My goal was to create a Christmas package look to the outside of the card. I cut my patterned paper and then used my metal ruler and exacto knife to slice the X across it. And the best part, you get enough to make two cards with it.

The inside is very simple, but heartfelt.

Lovely card Joyce, love how the background paper reacts cut like that :) Super cute image too
ReplyDeleteOh what a cute card and how beautiful is that sentiment inside?? Love that sentiment! I love how you cut your papers and how pretty they are too and I agree with you, it's better to wait a day to get the right colors for your adorable bear then to color him up and not like it. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas my friend!!
