Yes, I'm easily amused. |
I've been reading and enjoying your blogs and couldn't help but notice the ones from Australia are enjoying autumn - my favorite time of year.
The weather on the other side of the world inspired me to buy this yarn.
Homespun, this textured yarn, is made by LionBrand and the color I'm in love with this week is "FIESTA" (#396).
I'm using Number 13 needles and this is where I tell you - I only know the knit stitch - and all I make are scarves. Hey! It keeps me off the street.
The trouble with blogging is you want to share everything.
My pictures are o.k.
In real life it looks like I'm holding the season in my hand.
I might have put a touch more black into the mix, but it's pretty amazing just the way it is. Our weekend weather was a bit cool and I happily began working on a gift for one of my friends.
Or maybe I began working on MY newest scarf.....
What's new in your world today?

I love to knit scarves too- and all I do is the knit stitch. I do know how to purl, but I hate it-I don't want to make anythingthat I have to count or remember which row I am supposed to be working on-that is not relaxing to me!
Hey, I can not knit at all! I envy you your knit stitch and scarf! The colors are beautiful, autumn colors are the best! enjoy. and I like the photo of the odd little yellow truck! Rain here too, but the snow skipped us yesterday...less than 30 miles down the road from us got 7 inches of snow. I do not mind missing that mess.
that little truck is pretty cute. and a big YAY for rain!
Great colours Joy. Autumn, my idea of a good season too. Ready to build log fires and hibernate, eat and put on weight. Heavenly!

It has been a wierd spring. We had super warm...for us...weather over the weekend...in the 70s, Back to mild and showers today. I'm not a knitter...couldn't keep the tension even enough to stay on size, so I cross stitch! Thanks for visiting!
Cheers!

My daughter is learning to knit. She can already knit and purl. Like you, I can only knit and make scarves. But yours will be nice and warm and cozy when autumn arrives in Texas!
I like the way the knit stitch looks in scarves. I am working on a Prayer Shawl now, knit 3, purl 3, wish I had done just plain knit but too far along now to start over. Like your color.
