i'm medicating

my cough hasn't left me since two weeks ago so i decided to look for an MD here in our building, and upon inquiring, i was directed to the 8th floor. There is this Health Gallery, Inc. and i was attended to right away by the medical staff in spite of the long line of people waiting for their turn. "Good", i whispered to myself and so the MDgave me a prescription: 800mg Cotrimoxazole. It's an antibiotic intended to melt away the [spoiler]sticky phlegm [/spoiler] that seems to be looking for a home in my lungs. no way it's gonna find a home in me! grrr!

anyway, i'll be taking the BIG tablets twice a day for seven days, and i started it today. i also bought a liter-bottle of distilled drinking water so i could monitor my liquid intake everyday. I should be drinking at least 3 liters of H2O per day. too bad though, i was prohibited or should i say, advised, by my officemates to abstain from drinking coffee until i'm done with my medicatin. that would be zero caffeine in seven days!

the other day, friend Mariel noticed my sick voice when i joined her and another good friend, Paul, for dinner. They have watched a movie together and after the film was done, we met up at Chef d' Angelo. It's nice seeing them again, specially Paul whom i haven't seen in the longest time. I told them to schedule a one day trip to Enchanted Kingdom as i haven't been there in my life! If the long weekend will push through next month, we'll probably turn on the green light and visit the place, together with other close PEx pals.
