Boring days and a package

Wish I could say something exciting has been going on thats why I haven't posted anything.  Jason got home on Friday and was tired from traveling.  We sat around all evening and had a really lazy Saturday.  Well actually we did laundry all day, so it wasn't that lazy.  Sunday we ran a few errands and then went to my parents for dinner.

Guess what I got Monday??????  A new lens for my camera.  I have been debating for months whether or not I wanted to get it.  I have read several different blogs saying that its their favorite and highly suggest it. Its not like I am a professional and need all these lenses, but I love taking pictures!! I finally caved in and bought it with my Christmas money.  I have been playing with it all day.  So there will be lots of pictures coming up that I have been taking because I am totally obsessed.  I don't really know exactly how to use it that well yet so some pictures are a little blurry!

We also got a package in the mail today!

YAHHH Thanks Nanny!!  First off Jason has decided to stop smoking.  Jasons mom sent us the start up kit of chantix and the next few months.  This has been a long battle to get him to stop, but hopefully it will work.

She also sent Bailey a little something in the package and she loved it!

Who still has coupons in their purse????

How many of you clip coupons every week??  How many of you print coupons off of the internet every week??  How many of you use those coupons everytime??  How many of you get all the coupons you can, plan your menu around the coupons, have all intentions of using the coupons, then get home and remember.... crap I forgot to use the coupons??  Me, Me, Me, and Me!!!

At first I did all the grocery shopping without Jason.  So I had all these coupons and go to leave for the store and Jason would be like..."Dont foget to use the coupons."  My reaction is..."Yeah I know leave me alone I won't forget them."  Majority of the time I forgot them...ooooops!!  My excuse (which really isn't an excuse its the truth) is by the time you have picked everything up you need and ran to the back of the store because you forgot something, while having a baby in the front of the buggy wanting out or wanting something to eat...coupons are the last thing on your mind.

Well we  all three venture out to the store and I have tons of coupons from the internet and the paper.  I was so excited to get all these good deals.  We shop and I get everything we need and check my coupons and make sure I am getting the right things.  We go to check out and Jason takes over emptying the buggy and paying.  We get home and Jason goes....."Uhhhh we forgot to use the coupons"  HIS FAULT!!!   Now he knows how easy it is to get distracted and forget to use them.  But boy did he complain when I did the exact same thing!

Please tell me I am not the only one that has issues remembering coupons???

Fall in the Forest

Why oh why do the weekends have to end?  It seems as if the past few weekends we have had something going on.  It so nice to not to be on a schedule or have a million things to do.  We didn't do much at all this weekend.  Saturday was just one of those days where Jason let me sleep in....well he's pretty good at letting me do this almost every weekend.  Today we decided to go to Kanawha State Forest to try and get some more fall pictures.  Yeah I know I am way too obsessed with the camera.  The sun was really bright in some spots and it was really hard to get good pictures without it glaring in our face and making us squint or there just being a huge glare on the picture.  Oh well didn't stop me from snapping away.  Anyways here are some of the pictures.

This is the sign going into the National Forest.  Theres a glare because I was taking it from the car.

Ahhhh....Gotta love the mountains in West Virginia this time of year

This is my side  of the family...parents, sister, and grandma, plus hubby and baby

What do you think of....

When you see this???  This bed screams...A good nights rest!!!! (Or naptime)

(I found this picture online and its from the movie The Holiday)

We have a queen size bed and to some that may seem like plenty of room.  Now that Jason has been traveling so much I get the bed to myself A LOT!  I really dont like being home alone because I jump at every sound, but at least I am comfy and have plenty of room while jumpy.  I seriously starting asking for a king size bed for the extra space.  Or I will kindly ask "Do you want to go sleep in the spare room?"  I never get the answer I am looking for!  So last night I came up with a solution.....we will just get rid of the nightstands and add a twin bed for him!!  Wow that sounds like a fabulous idea!

I just notice that when I sleep alone my back doesn't hurt, my neck doesnt have kinks, and I feel rested!  Alright I will stop complaining about the things I can't change! Oh yeah I love my husband too!!

Playin' outside

As we all know Jason is back in town.  We went to pick him up at the airport last Wednesday.  We thought Bailey would be really excited to see him.  Well she really didnt know what to think.  I put her down and she walked to him and then reached back for me.  It took her a few minutes to warm up to him and then after that she went back to being daddys little girl.  We have been hanging around the house while he catches up on sleep.  We are possible going to buy a new car actually a truck for Jason.  We went looking the past few days and trying to decide what he actually wants.  I will let ya know what we decide on.  We have been taking lots of pictures this weekend. Here are some of the ones we took today while playing outside and Jason mowed and worked on the yard.  I will try and post some more tomorrow.  I would post them all right now but its Sunday night and all the new shows come on tonight!  Yahhh!  Hope you had a good weekend.  PS. Feel free to comment on the post and let me know how you like the pictures!!!  Oh yeah there is one of the front of the house decorated for fall.

Dear Daddy!

Dear Daddy,
Mommy and I are anxiously waiting for you to come home.  We know that you can check the blog while you are away so thought we would write you a note.  I want you to know that mommy is doing a good job at taking care of me, but she is getting boring.  I cant wait for you to get home and play with me.  You always make me laugh really hard and play fun games with me.  I dont think you should be able to go away for this long again because I miss you so much.  I hope you are having fun on your trip and I am keeping my fingers crossed you bring me something cool home.  If not I will just settle for a hug and kiss, well I will take lots of hugs and kisses!
Love you more than you know.
Bailey and Mommy

Pink toes and Bathing suits!

Bailey loves any phone she can get her hands on. Notice she didnt put the phone for awhile the first day in the pool. She must have been expecting an important phone call.

Having fun with daddy!!

She loves her daddy!!

Who needs a pool when you have a bucket???

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Heres an update on what has been going on recently. Bailey is moving more and more. She doesnt stay still for nothing, except to eat. She has become quite the little piggy. She eats EVERYTHING. She eats whatever we are eating and almost as much as we do. We ordered pizza the other night and she ate 2 pieces minus the crust. If we have a snack she insist she has some of it too. We have also been spending a lot of time in the pool. She loves being outside especially in the water. She has her own baby pool here and one at my parents along with the bigger pool they have. At first she played in the baby pool a lot because she didn't like the big pool being so cold. Now that it has warmed up she would rather get in that. She will point and try to climb in herself. We are trying to teach her facial features.....so far she knows where every ones nose is. We ordered her new car seat so she can face forward and we can not wait! I think she will enjoy the car ride so much more now she knows that's going on. We spent Fathers day at my parents hanging out in the pool and cooking out. I would like to wish Jason and my dad a happy fathers day once again. Jason you are the best daddy Bailey could ever ask for. Bailey and I want to thank you for always being there for us and always putting your family first. We love you and thank you for the opportunity to let us spend every day together! To my dad: Thank you for being the best dad. You also always put your family first no matter what! Thank you for everything you do for me and my family! We love you so much!

oh well!!!

Well, Jason has informed me that I need to be more careful while typing. He says I have too many mistakes. If he tried doing this with a toddler walking around the same time I typed and put pictures on here that would be the least of his worries. So I apologize if it bothers you, but your gonna have to get over, and that means you Jason. The warm weather is finally here to stay I believe and we are loving it. Bailey loves to go outside even if it is to let the dogs out or get the mail. She is getting to be so funny and has such a spunky attitude. (She must get it from her dad because I don't have an attitude at all. ha ha) She learned to shake her head NO! She answers everything by shaking her head no even if she really wants to do it. I have a really cute video of her doing it and will try to post later. She can definitely throw a fit. When she doesn't get her way she will throw herself to the ground and scream!

We are working on planning her birthday party. Ladybug theme of course! We have very cute decorations and expect a fun day! I could not find one place that made a cake in the shape of a ladybug and I was determined to have one. So I took it upon myself to make one. There is a pic below so you can check it out. Just remember that that one is my practice one and the next one will be better! But it turned out pretty cute and very tasty!!! Hope everyone is enjoying them Memorial Day weekend!

Walking around being big stuff these days!!!

Going to a wedding.
