I probably should have left the house today- instead I had a pajama day, took a nap, let the laundry go and got homesick for Utah! Lately, I have been doing really well with getting adjusted to Arizona. In fact, I haven't had a homesick day in awhile... until today! I am in serious need of some weather change. I would ask for a season change but I know that is too much to ask for!! I love it here, I really do but some days I think I just need to be outdoors to remember why I love it here and why we moved here!! Then of course, picture #2 happened and that was just the Icing On The Cake!! Bronson had to have the coaster that was underneath the drink. He just didn't realize the consequence of pulling the coaster with a drink off the table! Happy Monday!!

Day Forty-Seven
Haircut #4- This boy has hair that grows like crazy!! I am so jealous because I wish my hair grew as fast as his does!! This is his 4th haircut!! I think he is finally traumatized by the haircutting process! He didn't last very long before he started to cry but I would say he still did a really good job! I got about half way through and he started freaking out crying and saying ahhhhdadadada (that is him crying and ending with dada)! Nick and I got a good laugh out of it!

Day Forty-Five
High School Football- This brings back memories!! The stadium filled with teenagers in school spirit attire (some girls wearing next to nothing) and most kids there just to socialize, waiting to hang out after the game is over!
Neither Nick or I have been back to a High School Football game since we were in high school ourselves. We went to my cousin's Homecoming game and Bronson {loved} it until the fireworks went off!! I don't know if he loved the football game or the cheerleaders, I'll say both!!

Day Forty-Four
Owie- We had a minor run in with the kitchen chair leg. He had a melt down and then moved on. It actually looks worse now than it did the day it happened because it is in the ugly green stage of healing!! Have to love boys and their owies... it only gets worse, right?? I'll prepare myself now!

Day Forty-Two
Rays of Sunshine- I take my child outside, I swear!! Most days you can find him looking through one of the windows at least a few times a day! I think Bronson has an extreme love for the outdoors. He loves to take in everything that is around him outside, even from the indoors!! You can tell that he is learning so much!

Day Fourty
Green Balloon- Bronson got his first balloon on Saturday when we went to lunch with Uncle Bubby, Aunt Beth and Beck, from Famous Daves. He loved it and played with it in the car on the way home but didn't care too much about it once we got home. I tied it on the chair and left it till morning. This morning I asked Nick to pop it and throw it away. The second Bronson saw it, it was all he wanted!!!

Day Thirty-Seven
Day Thirty-Six
Positive Thinking- I have noticed that since I started my Project 365 blog I have been forced to find something positive in every day. Even though that can be extremely hard some days, it has been totally worth it!
Do you ever just sit and look around your house, taking everything in and feel grateful for all that you have? I'm grateful for all of the little things that make my house a home! This little beauty is a wreath I made out of old books that I wasn't using anymore. Took me three hours to make and I have loved looking at it ever since!! There is beauty in all things but sometimes you have to search for it!!

Day Thirty-Four
I'm not going to lie- some days it is really hard for me to find something to take a picture of. Maybe I'm thinking too hard but either way it is hard! Therefore, today's picture is of a bathroom stall. No, I was not taking this while I was using the restroom. I actually had to sneak back in there to take this picture. I was hiding my camera in my purse so nobody thought I was crazy, which I am!! We had a social with Nick's co-workers at Dos Gringos and they had some really funny stuff written all over the walls. One that made me laugh but I didn't want to get caught with my camera in the bathroom (because it was as you were leaving the bathroom) was "It may have not been pleasant but thanks for stopping by!"

Day Thirty-Three
Day Thirty-Two
Remembering 9-11-2001- I still remember this day so clearly. It was my Senior year and I had just arrived to my Math class that morning. I sat down and saw that the news was on and my teacher was watching the coverage. We were all so shocked with the news and even more terrified as we watched the 2nd plane hit the world trade center.
This year we went to "The Healing Field" in Tempe where they had a flag for each person lost in this event and a little something about them with their age, name and where they were when it happened. So many amazing people were lost with so much still to live for, leaving family and friends. My heart goes out to all of those that lost someone this day!

Day Thirty
Season Opener- Vikings vs. Saints. Nick has waited for this night for at least a month! He has also waited for this sweet new jersey for about 3 weeks. He is proud that it is an 'authentic' jersey just like the one the players wear on the field. Go Vikings!!

Day Twenty-Nine
Something fun for EVERYONE!!- We have visitors this week! Nick's sister Stefanie and her family came to visit for a few days and we decided to take the kids to an indoor amusement park called Jeepers. Indoors away from the heat, letting the kids run off their energy from a long road trip and adults getting to be KIDS again!! We had a blast!!

Day Twenty-Seven
A Monday off- This is what we do on our Holidays!! Normally, I hate video games but if you ask me to play Home Run Derby then I'm in!! Here is a little run down of our Home Run Derby conversation. If you know Nick and I you know that we are both competitive!!
Nick is up to bat first. He hits a few homers and right away says "I'm going to woop you!"
Me: "I'm actually really good at Home Run Derby, don't under estimate me!!"
Nick: "Ok, we'll see."
I'm up to bat and hit 3 homers in a row.
Nick: "I gave you the best batter in the league."
Me: "No, I'm just bada$$!" (excuse my language)
Nick laughs...
End result Lindsey 27 Nick 25. I think my previous statement says enough!!

Day Twenty-Four
Sometimes all you need is something Sweet- Today has been one of those days, actually this week has been one of those weeks. I go to my pantry multiple times a day hoping that maybe, just maybe something yummy would show up!! Wednesday I was ambitious and made cookies, half of which I gave away. They were yummy but didn't do the trick. However, today I pulled out this bag of goodies and was quite pleased...
