Jake and I are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first nephew. Jake's brother Karl and his wife Christi are expecting their son in just 8 weeks. We're so excited! Leslie (Jake's sister) and I went to a baby shower held for Christi on Saturday. It was such a cute shower. My good friend Michelle (Christi's sister) made the most beautiful fruit bouquet. It was so pretty it was almost hard to eat.
Leslie and I made sugar cookies in little hand and foot prints for the shower. The recipe we used was from Sharlene (Jake's mom) and they were delicious! I wish she could have helped us to make them.
