Well, we've officially survived the first couple of days. Little baby Lincoln (or "Link" if you're a Zelda fan) is now 4 days old. Richelle and I are both a little worse for the wear, but overall we're doing great. Lincoln is just so cute that it's hard to feel overwhelmed for very long . . . I'm definitely a proud daddy. We'd be feeling a lot better though if we could get little Lincoln to stay up during the day and sleep at night (instead of vice-versus), so today we've tried to keep him up as much as possible . . . which Lincoln hasn't really appreciated.
Things really are awesome though . . . sure, Richelle is a lot worse for the wear, and Lincoln can be a handful at times, but we're both really happy, and enjoying being parents.

Andy says "haha, Richelle cut her hair to be more of a mom hair cut." I don't agree. Too cute. And he does look exactly like Jake--little Link.
My older brother told us that do help with the day and night mix up is to turn on lights in the room when Lincoln is with you, then as it gets dark, start dimming them (if you have dimming lights). It took a few days, but then Will switched his habits. By week 5 he was sleeping through the night.
Congrats! Ah I'm so scared for that part, good thing I still have a few more months to prep my mind!and body for that! I don't do it because everyone elses looks so nice and mine looks like crap!
