Hello

 Happy Saturday Peeps!!!

Today's card share is made using a couple of challenges

and
has a pretty color challenge this week:

I am again using my fave stamp set, Good Morning Magnolia. A mus have in
my opinion.

I stamped the flower with black stazon onto a piece of thick whisper white.
I love using the Stamparatus for this, because it is easy to re-ink and stamp again if you don't
get a clear image the first time

I colored the flower with Flirty Flamingo, and the leaves with Granny Apple Green.
I used the matching die to cut out the Magnolia.

The base of my card is thick Whisper White. My card is a 5 x 5 inch square.

My next layer is Soft Seafoam  card stock.
I stamped my sentiment and then
embossed with the Subtle EF.

Next layer is a piece of Flirty Flamingo
that is embossed with the Corrugated EF.

My flower is then added with dimensionals.

I finished up with a few little rhinestones from the Noble  Peacock pack.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Birthday

Hello Peeps!!

Over at Just Add Ink
they have a fun sketch to work with!

I used a favorite flower set, All that You Are.
I stamped with black stazon and colored with my Aqua Painter.
I used Flirty Flamingo for the flowers with a touch of Daffodil Delight in the centers.

The base is thick Whisper White.
I then pulled a piece of gingham DSP from the Gingham Gala pack.
I matted it with some Daffodil Delight card stock.

I fussy cut out my flower image selectively eliminating parts and I also cut the large
flower head away from the image. I added the foliage piece to my card with dimensionals.
I then added the large flower head back to the card with dimensionals as well. I moved it just slightly
from it's original position in the image.

My sentiment is one I had in my stash from an unknown retired set.
I added pieces of Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo under the flower stem and then positioned my sentiment piece across the top.

I finished with a few sequins from the Gingham Gala Sequins pack.

Thanks for coming by.
I am off to see my sweet grand daughters today!

Enjoy your day!

Thinking of You

Happy Sunday Peeps!!!

My card today was one I made using a couple of challenges.

First up is the Just Add Ink  challenge, Embossing.

 and

My intention was to use the sketch and make a few "rainbow" colored flowers.
As you can see I strayed from that a bit, I even when off the rails as far as the sketch.
So not sure, not rainbow for sure and the sketch is there but.....

The flowers are stamped and colored with my aqua painter. I used Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight along with Wild Wasabi for the leaves.

The flowers are from the Tea Together Set and the sentiment comes from the Wonderful Romance set.
I embossed the Background piece using the Lace Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder.
The piece of DSP is from the Classic Garage pack.

I finished up with a few sequins from the Gingham Gala Sequins
and rhinestones in the yellow flower centers.

Thanks for coming by!

Vicki

Season's Greetings

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card made using the sketch challenge this week at Just Add Ink.

I am back using that beautiful Detailed Deer thinlit.

I do love it.

I die cut the deer this time using some silver foil paper.
I added it to my die cut circle with a few dimensionals and sit it aside to make the rest of the card.

I tried several different things for my background and strip elements, but eventually just went with this clean and simple version.

I used a piece of DSP from the Festive Farmhouse pack and a piece of silver foil and red glitter paper for the strips.

I used a bit of red twine tied around the base and made a pretty bow.
I added a few red rhinestones around the main panel.

The sentiment comes from the Wishing You Well stamp set.
I added just a sliver of red glitter paper on the bottom edge of the sentiment piece.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Just Add Ink.....Happy Birthday Rose

Happy Sunday Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the sketch this week at Just Add Ink.

I love a good sketch challenge and this is a cool one.

I dove right in and pulled out some Crumb Cake to use for my base.
The next layer is also Crumb Cake that I stamped the a wood grain background onto.

The DSP I used is from the now retired Watercolor Wonder pack.

I cute a few Roses using the rose Wonder die cuts and stacked them up and glued together.
I then laid one layer of the negative pieces back into the rose stack and then taped them down from the back. This piece is added to the white piece with dimensionals.
I de cut a few leaves from the same die using gold foil and Old Olive paper..

The sentiment is from the Rose Wonder set as well and is stamped with Black ink onto the Wood grain piece.
I added a strip of gold foil .paper too the top if the white piece

I colored in all the negative pieces of the rose using my Wink of Stella pen. I seriously love that pen and use it all the time, it sadly does not show in my pics tho.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
