Ornament Packaging

Hello Peeps!!

Popping in here quickly to show you a couple of small gift boxes I whipped up to hold a couple of little ornaments I found at Target this year.

I used the envelope punch board to make theses.

I do have to say I wasted a few sheets of cardsock figuring out the right size, I need to use some cheap paper when experimenting. But anyway!! LOL!!

I figured out after making one that I needed a way to close my little box and decided a belly band would be the best choice.

I used the Sweetly Stitched Framelits for the tree and star.

All the DSP is from the All is Bright pack.

The sentiment is from the Making Christmas Bright stamp set.
You can see the cute little ornament in the above and below pic.

Friends Gifties

I have been busy the past few days making some little swap gifts for some friends.

I have been playing with the  bottle caps from Stampin Up.
I flattened these in the Big Shot.
I used the silver and red glimmer paper.

Here are the little key chains I made, I used the 1 inch circle punch with the silver glimmer and the small hear t punch with the red glimmer. The "friends" comes from the Tiny Tags stamp set. I hand cut these out and added it just under the heart. I covered the while thing with Crystal Effects and then let dry. I used my crop a dial to punch a hole for the chains. I have a bunch of these ball key chains I got years ago at a little junk store.

These are the magnets. I did the same with them as the key chain just didn't add the sentiment. I added a magnet to the back and packaged them up.  After getting them all made up, my daughter commented that they looked like owls!
Now who wouldn't like these???
Thanks for stopping by today!

Coaster Photo Frames

Good Friday Morning! We are getting down to crunch time aren't we? I have a really fun a quick project to show you today.

I found these coaster photo frames at Michael's earlier this year and snatch up a few sets over time to use for Christmas and I almost had forgot about them. They cost under $10 dollars and then with the 40% off coupon, it makes it a really economical gift. They are so fast to put together less than 10 minutes start to finish. They come with a slip of paper inserted into the frame portion, so you can just use that for a guide in cutting your cardstock. This first set I used night of navy cardstock and the snowflakes from the SU set Snow Swirled, just love that set, the snowflakes are so pretty. I stamped them with versmark and embossed with white embossing powder. Be sure to use your embossing buddy on the cardstock first so you don't have stray spots of white.

The next set I made with one of my favorite flower stamps, from SU's Happy Harmony set.

I started with some shimmer cardstock and inked up the stamp with one of last years in colors, groovy guava, and then used a ruby red marker to shadow the edges a bit. I then stamped the sentiment in black stazon over the stems of the flower, I really love this set.

Then next a really quick masculine one:

I used this silhouette stamp from 100 proof press. Just love the kids fishing. The stamp is a long stamp so I just cut out the portion I wanted. I actually had a few of the images already stamped from a scrapped project so I was able to recycle. Besides my friend Lois has "borrowed" this stamp when I "borrowed" her SU Give Thanks set! LOL!!!

So that's it for today. Hope you have had a good week and are looking forward to a fun weekend and get some stamping time in during all the other holiday festivities! See ya later!
