12 brads
OK, so I whined some on the FD blog...12 brads...at one time?? LOL I use brads less often than buttons but more than eyelets..I think I tossed all my eyelets in the trash years ago actually ;p But I did have one more card to make and thinking of using my brads as a Christmas tree design did help me to use up some green brads, so it was all good in the end. Since I was hand delivering this one, I didn't have to worry about the brads making my card too bulky or too heavy.
Creative Imaginations - pattern paper
Fiskars - snow flake embossing plate
Big Shot
Really Reasonable Ribbon
DCWV - Shimmer-licious Stack
Helmars - 450, tape runner
brads - misc.
Copic marker ( to color small square brad brown for tree trunk )
And I did complete all 12 days of Christmas albeit with whining towards the end but I did enjoy the challenges and it helped me to get my Christmas cards completed so even if I don't win anything I still had fun...lol

Super card Sandee. Always wondered what to do with the red stripy paper I have like your backing, it works really well on your card. Well done on finishing the challenge. Was just thinking, there are loads of 12 days of Christmas challenges dotted about but none yet on the ACTUAL 12 days which don't start until Christmas Night itself. Have a great Christmas Sandee. HUGS BJ x
I love how you made the tree from brads!! This is a beautiful card! :) I whine too when I have to use a bunch of brads or eyelets and I don't know why! ;) Merry Christmas!

LOL! Great save on the brad card! Cute, too. Merry Christmas! :)
Conjunction, junction, what's your function?! Okay, 12 brads is out of control. And I laughed at the eyelet comment. I ditched all the weird ones, which means all but the 1/8" round ones. I still find stashes in my stash though. Love what you did with your 12 brads though. It is an awesome design and doesn't seem brad-heavy if you know what I mean.
GENIUS use of the brads!!!! Love all your cards and congrats on getting all the challenges done!! Thanks for playing along in my brads challenge at Frosted Designs!! -- Joni FD, DT
