While I was walking on the Schuylkill River Trail last night, a mangy looking Red Fox popped out of the woods and crossed the trail right in front of me. I guess this fox wanted to see the Alien Space Spheres too. He was looking right at them while scratching himself (I suspect fleas) and turned to look at me when I dug out the camera.

oooh that reminds me...I promised someone a week or so ago I was gonna post some pix. I think I better give them their own entry to make up for it...
Alice Kay, the fox scratched itself some more and then when I moved to get a little closer for a better picture, he finally got off the road (it's hardly ever used) and scampered into the weeds to the right of the space spheres.
Very cool! We don't see too many fox around here. More likely to see or hear a coyote.
