Created by Hand - Dont worry be HOPPY




I just knew that I would find a use for this stamp someday !!!! I made my simple atc by creating a background with distress inks - stamped and masked my images and then added my wording with my trusty dymo labeller

Tuesday Taggers - Bugs



This is my tag for the Tuesday Taggers challenge where this week the theme Bugs is being sponsored by The Craft Barn

Crazy Amigos - ink and water




I used distress inks and water for my background - my main image Hampton Art is stamped with stazon

Mixed Media Monday - Egg




This is a wooden egg that I have collaged using Decopatch Glossy Glue and tissue paper. I added 3 coats of glue it has a lovely finish and is great to sit and feel whilst thinking !!!

Lotstodo Challenge week 12 Vintage




This week I made a wall hanging using an alcohol ink background. Image matted and layered added lace, fibre and a bit of bling

4 x 4 Friday- Artisan




Background was created with Milled Lavendar and Walunt Stain Distress ink - main image stamp Tin Can Mail stamped with walnut ink distress ink and the background completed with stamp plate waste and Dusty Concord Distress inks

Art Creations Friday




Femmy provided us with the most stunning background that I used to create this 4 x 4 I stamped my main image Stampington The Glance with stazon on to tissue and added it with Mod Podge. I then stamped my word added a few beads and inked the edges

Theme Thursday




The challenge this week on Theme Thursday was to use any theme to creat a 2ins x 4 ins piece of work.

Wednesday Stamper - Spring




I created my background with distress inks. I then used the water colour technique on my penny black stamp. Finished off by inking the edges and adding fibre which I had coloured to match with distress ink

Rainbow Lady - In my garden




I used 3 of the new distress inks and cutndry to create my background. I then stamped my images with black soot and finished off by inking the edges.

Vintage hanger




I used torn cardboard as a backing and spritzed it with Adirondack Colour Wash - raisen.I then stamped my image (Inkadinkado) with stazon on to white card stock and water coloured it. I added some lace along the bottom and finished it off by adding some mica flakes.

Slide Mailer

New Stamps




Had to have a little play with some of my new stamps today - these are from plates manufactured by Creative Expressions.

Atc's



I made these atc's for a private swap I'm doing with Amy from the States - I've used distress inks,white pen, various stamps,some stickles, ideology, a few gems and a fragment to finish them off - hope she likes them

Tuesday Taggers - Alter It



This was a very cheap and very plain photo frame I got from Ikea. I added my words with grungeboard letters - covered it with foil tape and used my Ten Second Studio tools to emboss it. I then used my wheel tool to add a bit of pattern. I covered it all in black gesso and let it dry off for about ten minutes before wiping most of it off with kitchen roll. I finished off by buffing it up with a soft duster.

Challenge week 11



I gessoed my springtime frame before covering with distress inks and then a background stamp. I then made my tiles with stompbord - the black and white ones are triple embossed. The other 4 are inked,stamped and then etched. I finished them all off with Copper Krylon pen. The image is a rub on which I coloured using promarkers. This is also for a birthday present - hope the recipient likes it.

Distressed frame,canvas,hanger





I created these three items for a swap being hosted by Sam on the Lotstodo forum

Hanger - Cardboard, distress inks, vintage pic, cork corners, lace, wording eyelets and fibres.

Frame - Grungeboard letters and pieces - Copper Foil tape - black gesso- tensecond studio tools

Canvas - 2 mini canvasses held together with a hinge. Distress inks - zettiology stamps on to tissue - mod podge

Altered Mirror



I altered this mirror as a gift for a friend. I Covered it with gesso - then inked with distress inks. I then stamped all over it with a background stamp. The twinchies were made using distress inks, various stamps and finished with Rock Candy

Recipe Swap - Lotstodo forum



ATC - inked background with distress inks - stamped image (Craft Stamper) with stazon - stamped a few little flowers down the side and the pebble word. I then distressed the edges and inked. Finished off by adding 3 beads and a smattering of distress stickles

Tag - Background inked with distress inks - circles created by stamping with bleach - stamped flowers - added a bit of distress stickles, 3 beads and some fibre to finish

Postcard - background inked with distress inks - stamped flowers and sun - added beads a bit of stickles on the sun then some copper crackle paint along the bottom

Altered CD's




I've made these for a swap on the Lotstodo Forum being hosted by Alison

(1) I used alcohol inks and pva to create the background. I then added some tissue stamping and some direct stamping. The central image is from the Crafty Individuals collection - I burned the edges to grunge it up a bit. To finish I added some german scrap, a charm and a hanger.

(2) Stickyback canvas and distress inks were used to create the backing - I then added inked grungeboard pieces and an image - again finishing off with a hanger

Challenge week 10




I used various wood burning tools to create the pattern and the word on the balsa wood. I then inked it, rubbed greenacrylic dabber round the edges and added the hooks. I then gave it 2 coats of Krylon chrystal clear varnish

Phrenology Head





Oh what fun I've had with this !!! Thanks to Karen (Graphics Fairy) for the inspiration and the template. I printed it out on to canvas - coloured with all the New Distress inks - love those colours - I then stuck them to card to strengthen and then glued them too each other using an old ruler as a stick. I covered the ruler with alcohol inks and then stuck it into a balsa wood cube which I had gessoed and coloured again with alcohol inks

Again used pva and alcohol inks to alter this CD - love the texture its created - bit of stamping - Crafty Individual image - german scrap and a charm finishes it off

Altered frame




I altered this frame using embossing folders and metal. I then added black gesso and rubbed most of it off - I also sanded some of the raised areas. My image - Crafty Individuals - was stamped with stazon and water colored. Its for a birthday gift - hope the recipient likes it

Book stand



I got my inspiration for this bbok stand from Sue Roddis - April Craftstamper.

I firstly covered my book with gesso then glued it and left it clamped over night. I then inked it with dye inks and babywipes I then did a bit more inking through sequin waste. I added pieces of serviette and dressmaking pattern before stamping my images on to tissue and adding them. I added some Crafty Individual images which I hade lemon burned. I also did a bit of direct stamping. My bracket was covered with gesso and then alcohol inks before screwing it to the pages. Quite like the way it turned out

Lotstodo Challenge Distressed



I used a piece of cardboard as my backing - I'd torn away some of the paper before I covered it in Pebble dabber. I then run some sandpaper over it and used some distress ink Vintage photo to create shadows. I stamped my image using stazon then added my wording. I inked some grungeboard waste to add the scrolls. I finished off by using my cropodile to set eyelets which I threaded with inked string

Caz has been decorating her kitchen and has decided to use 4 x 4's against a terracotta background to finish it off.Bet it'll look brilliant when finished

I created my backgrounds with Distress Inks then stamped my quotes. I then masked these off and stamped background stamps.

I've had lots of fun today doing these pages for my journal
