My Favorite Things...June Teasers - Day 7 - Insert It- Speech Bubble Frame

Hey stampin' friends! I'm back with two cards for Day 7 of the June Teasers! Today we are featuring the NEW Pure Innocence - On a Picnic, Picnic Basket Die-namics, Max Alphabet, Insert It - Speech Bubble Frame! I made this card with the NEW Insert It - Speech Bubble Frame, the NEW Chalkboard Greetings and the NEW Chalkboard Frame Builder Die-namics. I used Heidi Swapp Serendipity 6x6 papers...I'm SO loving yellow and grey colour combo...can't seem to get enough of it! I matted with MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card stock in Steel Blue, Sno Cone and Banana.

So, I thought I would get with the trend and add a few sequence to these cards. I've had sequence in my stash forever and now they are all the rage...so I pulled them out for this card. I've also seen lots of gold glitter lately but I'm personally more of a silver girl, so I added some silver glitter cardstock while I was it. I cut the NEW Insert It - Speech Bubble Frame from the silver glitter cardstock and cut the Insert It - 3x4 Insert Die-namics from Smooth White Card Stock. I stamped the sentiment from the NEW Chalkboard Greetings with MFT Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink on the 3x4 Insert and adhered the silver speech bubble frame over it. I also used the NEW Chalkboard Frame Builder to cut the patterned paper and and silver cardstock to make the cute little angled edge flags. 

Here is the inside...I used just the speech bubble from the NEW Insert It - Speech Bubble Frame Die-namics and added a few more angled edge flags.  I stamped a sentiment from the Pearls Of Wisdom Stamp set with MFT Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink on pattern paper cut with the Jumbo Cloud STAX Die-namics.

Here is my second card, again, I used the Heidi Swapp Serendipity 6x6 papers and MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Steel Blue, Sno Cone and Banana. I used the NEW Insert It - Speech Bubble Frame Vertically this time to fit the sentiment from the NEW Chalkboard Greetings.  Again, I  stamped it on Smooth White Card Stock cut it out with the Insert It - 3x4 Insert.

I added a few more sparkly sequence and cut a few more angled edge flags with the NEW Chalkboard Frame Builder Die-namics...I love it when I come up with little ways to use my Die-namics other than their intended purpose.

My Favorite Things...June Teasers Day 6...Wendy Burns...So Special!

I made my card 6x6 and used the Authentique Renew 8x8 paper pad. I matted with MFT Black Licorice, Steel Blue and Sno Cone Heavyweight Card Stock.  The NEW Wendy Burns Designs for MFT have fast become my favorite stamps and I absolutely adore the NEW Wendy Burns Designs - You're So Special to me Stamp set. She is SO much fun to colour! I coloured her with my Copics and again used my Charcoal pencil and a paper stomp to add in some dark shading...(love how hair turned out).  I love the fun sentiment that comes in the NEW WBD - You're So Special To Me Stamp set too. I stamped it in Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink on Smooth White Card Stock cut out with the NEW Insert It - Speech Bubble Frame. I stamped around the edges of the Speech Bubble with the floral stamps from the NEW You're So Special To Me Stamp Set with Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink.

I also used the NEW Washi Tape Die-namics and the Washi Patterns Stamps. I cut one of the more sold papers from the Authentique Renew Paper pad, cut it with the Washi Die-namics, then stamped with the various Washi Pattern Stamps.

Here is the inside...I stamped a shadow image of the Wendy Burns Designs - You're So Special To Me girl in Sno Cone Premium Dye ink I stamped the sentiment from the WDB - Cupcake Cutie and added a few more strips of "washi tape" that I made with the NEW Washi Tape Die-namics and Washi Patterns Stamp set.

My Favorite Things...June Teasers - Day 5 - Doddle Garden...Aloha

Aloha stampin' friends! I'm back with a card for Day 5 of the June Teasers! Today we are featuring the NEW Doddle Garden - Aloha, Palm Tree Die-namics and the Sun Ray Die-namics!  I made my card 6x6 and used MME The Sweetest Things Tangerine 6x6 papers. I matted with MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Electric Red, Bubblegum and Sno Cone. I inked up the super sweet NEW Doodle Garden Aloha girl and coloured her with my Copics. I also used the fun NEW Palm Tree Die-namics. To add a little more dimension to the palm tree I cut it out  from the thin chipboard and then cut the NEW Palm Tree Die-namics from MFT Hot Fudge, Gumdrop Green, Limeade and Jellybean Green Heavyweight Card Stock. I adhered the large spray of palm leaves, a few individual leaves and the trunk cut from the cardstock to the thin chipboard. 

I'm LOVING the NEW Washi Tape Die-namics and Washi Patterns Stamps in this release. I cut the washi tape from Kraft Heavyweight Card Stock and stamped various patterns from the Washi Patterns Stamp set in Orange Fizz and Red Hot Premium Dye Ink. 

Here is a close up of the tropical NEW Doodle Garden Aloha girl! I just adore her and she was SO much to colour! I stamped one of the sentiments from the NEW DG -Aloha stamp set in Red Hot Premium Dye Ink on Kraft Heavyweight Card Stock and cut it out with one of the little tags from the Blueprints 1 Die-namics.

I finished off the inside, as always :)...I stamped a shadow image of the NEW Doodle Garden Aloha girl in the pretty NEW Bubblegum Premium Dye Ink and stamped another sentiment from the set in Red Hot Premium Dye ink. I also added more washi tape made with the NEW Washi Tape Die-namics and the Washi Patterns.

My Favorite Things...June Teasers - Day 3...Abstract Art

So, It's Day 3 of June Teasers and today we are featuring the NEW Abstract Art, Paint Brushes Die-namics, Art Expression Text and the Peek-a-Boo Dots Die-namic. I made three cards with the fabulous NEW Abstract Art Stamp set (SOOO much fun) and the NEW Bold Statements stamp set and I used the fabulous NEW Blueprints 4 and the NEW Paint Brushes Die-namics too.

Never mind a message in a bottle wouldn't love to get a message in a paint can!? I had this idea to make a bird's-eye view of some paint cans. So, I made the A2 card-base from MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Grapesicle and cut the Smooth White Card Stock with the large rectangle from the NEW Blueprints 4. On the Smooth White Card Stock, I stamped various splatters, splotches and swatches of "paint" with the NEW Grapesicle Premium Dye Ink and in Electric Red and Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink.

 I used the Circle STAX 1 and 2 to make the large, gallon sized can of paint from metallic silver card stock and I used the stitched circle element from Blueprints 1 and a smaller Circle STAX Die-namics nested in the center to cut out the rim of the pint sized paint cans.  I stamped the sentiment from the NEW Bold Statements set with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink on the Electric Red Heavyweight Card Stock that is the "paint" on the inside of the can. I added a paint brush to rest on the edge of the large paint can with the NEW Paint Brushes Die-namics. To get a more realistic look of a paint brush dipped in paint,  I cut 2 "bristles" with the Paint Brushes Die-namics; one from Black Licorice Heavyweight Card Stock and one from Electric Red Heavyweight Card Stock. Then I used the Wavy Edge Die-namics to cut the wavy edge of the Electric Red Bristles and adhered it over the Black Licorice card stock.

Here is the inside...I made a pint sized paint can and added another paintbrush and used the NEW Bold Statements Set again for the sentiment.  

I really love how this card turned out with the NEW Insert It - Speech Bubble Frame. I used the actual Speech Bubble instead of the frame and stamped several sentiments from the NEW Bold Statements Stamp set with MFT Premium Dye Ink in the NEW Grapesicle, Orange Fizz and Red Hot Premium Dye Ink. I added a paintbrush with the NEW Paint Brushes Die-namics.    

Here is the inside...more fun splotches, splatters and swatches of "paint" with the NEW Abstract Art and another sentiment from the NEW Bold Sentiments set.

This is my third card today and I really had fun with this one too. I created my own paint chip...SO cool! I cut the long rectangle from the NEW Blueprints 4 Die-namics from Smooth Card Stock. I used thin Eclipse tape to mask of the measured sections and then I used the back of a MFT border stamp (specifically the wood-grain stamp from the LJD Western Backgrounds Stamp set) and inked it to get a solid swatch of colour.  stamped the swatch of ink in a gradation of the red using MFT Premium Dye Ink in, Red Hot, Wild Cherry and Electric Red.  I used the LLD Journal It- Calendar Basics stamp set to add the actual serial # of each of the MFT Premium Dye ink pads and I stamped the sentiment from the LLD Document It -  Rock On Stamp set. 

and this is the inside...I stamped another fun sentiment from the NEW Bold Statements Stamps set and a few more splotches and splatters of paint from the NEW Abstract Art set. I added another paint brush with the Paint Brushes Die-namics.

My Favorite Things Stamps...June Teaser Time Day 1...Pure Innocence - Gone Fishin'!

Today I made two cards with the super cute NEW Pure Innocence Gone Fishin' with the fabulous NEW Blueprints 4. I followed the Blueprints 4 Sketches PDF that can be found on the MFT blog. I used MFT Replenishments Card Stock in Grapsicle, Bubblegum, Banana, Lemon Drop and Whip Cream and paired it with the BasicGrey Soleil 6x6 papers.  I also used the NEW Abstract Art Stamps to add the splotches to the hearts and paper with Lemon Drop and NEW Bubblegum Premium Dye Ink.

 I coloured the NEW Pure Innocence - Gone Fishin' girl with my Copics and paper pieced her outfit, then cut her out and popped her on the rectangle panel. I also coloured the little fish accessory stamp from the set and added some epoxy dots for bubbles. I stamped the word "reel" from one of the sentiments from the NEW PI Gone Fishin' Stamp set and the word friends from another PI Stamp set on tags from Blueprints 1.

Here is the inside...I used more elements from the NEW Blueprints 4 and stamped more splotches/watermarks with the NEW Abstract Art Stamp set. 

Here is my second card with the NEW Pure Innocence Gone Fishin' and again I used the NEW Blueprints 4 and followed another sketch from the Blueprints 4 sketch from the PDF. I used MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock in Grapesicle, Berrylicious, Razzleberry, Bubblegum, Sweet Tooth and Lemon Drop. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Gone Fishin' Stamp set with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I wrapped the card with Hemp cord and added a Grape Jelly Button.

Here is the inside...I stamped the sentiment and fish with the NEW Grapesicle Premium Dye Ink.

My Favorite Things Stamps...May Teaser Day 7...Pure Innocnce - Farmer Girl!

Today I am sharing two cards that I made with the sweet NEW Pure Innocence - Farmer Girl Stamp set. I've coloured her with up with my Copics and paired her up with the NEW Blueprints 3 Die-namics...I'm SO loving the new Blueprints, a design plan and building blocks in one revolutionary product...simply ingenious! Blueprints 3 is another AMAZING set. I love making large square cards and the Blueprints 3 is perfect for making a 5X5 square card.  I've followed this month's Blueprints sketches. The Blueprints PDF will be available on the MFT blog.  I've also used the NEW Steel Grey Heavyweight Card Stock and paired it with Kraft, Lemon Drop, Berrylicious and Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock. I stamped part of the sentiment from the NEW Pure Innocence - Farmer Girl Stamp Set with the gorgeous NEW Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink.

Here is the inside...I stamped a shadow image of the NEW Pure Innocence - Farmer Girl in the NEW Steel blue Premium Dye Ink and stamped the another sentiment from the NEW PI Farmer Girl Stamp set with the gorgeous NEW Berrylicious Premium Dye Ink.

Here is my second card...again the design is from the Blueprints 3 Sketches PDF that is available on the MFT Blog! I've once again only used MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock. The MFT Replenishments Heavyweight Card Stock is SO gorgeous no pattern paper is required to make a great card. Again I have paired the gorgeous NEW Steel Blue Heavyweight Card Stock with the Berrylicious, Lemon Drop and Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock. I stamped only part of one of the sentiments from the NEW Prue Innocence Farmer Girl Stamp set with the NEW Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock.

Here is the inside...I stamped the shadow image of the sweet NEW PI Farmer Girl in the pretty NEW Berrylicious Premium Dye Ink and stamped the sentiment in the NEW Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink.

My Favorite Things Stamps...May Teaser Time - Day 6....Blueprints 3!

Hello Stampin' friends! Welcome to day 6 of the May MFT Teasers! The new May release will be available at My Favorite Things on May 7th at 10 PM EST. All the Release details are available on MFT Blog so be sure to check it out!!!

Today I'm sharing a card that I made with the fabulous NEW Blueprints 3 Die-namics and the gorgeous NEW Lisa Johnson Designs Peaceful Wildflowers. I stamped some of the Wildflowers in the NEW Red Hot Premium Dye ink and the NEW Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink on Smooth White Card Stock. Then used the NEW Lisa Johnson Designs Wildflowers Die-namics and stamped the Wildflowers on the die-cuts. 

I actually made my card 5X5. 5 from Black Licorice Heavyweight Card Stock and used the elements in the fabulous NEW Blueprints 3 to achieve a simple colour blocking design! I cut the square mat with the large square die-namics in the New Blueprints 3 Die-namics. I then stamped it with the NEW Mona Pendleton Designs Distressed Background Blocks with the NEW Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink. I also used the scalloped edge Die-namics from the NEW Blueprints 3 and aligned it to cut along the bottom of the square mat.  I stamped a sentiment from the NEW LJD - Peaceful Wildflowers Stamp set in NEW Red Hot Premium Dye Ink on Sweet Tooth Heavyweight Card Stock cut with the stitched circle from Blueprints 1 and tied it with Hemp cord.

Here is the inside...I stamped another pretty wildflower from the NEW LJD - Peaceful Wildflowers and another sentiment from the same set in the NEW Red Hot Premium Dye Ink and added the dotted border cut from the NEW Steel Blue Heavyweight Card Stock.
