Reverse Confetti - Heart Pals - Be A Donor Campaign - A Show of Hearts

Hello stampin' friends! It has been a long time since I made a card but I was inspired to get crafty and make this card for "A show of Hearts Campaign" - Be a Donor Campaign. The challenge is to use your creativity with photos to show support for, Donna McAllister, she is from the Durham region and she needs a heart transplant. This campaign has been organized by my friend, Cheryl Bailey, to encourage everyone to do their part and spread awareness of organ/heart donation.

For my card I used my Reverse Confetti Stamp set Heart Pals. I coloured them with my Copics and cut them out with the coordinating Heart Pals Confetti Cuts. I used the Tag Me Confetti Cuts and stamped a white heat embossed sentiment on velum. The Sentiment is from the My Tribe Sentiment Set.

I also used the RC All Framed Up Confetti Cuts and the RC Hang Ups Confetti Cuts. I tied the Tag with some American Crafts Twine and added some sparkle with Stickles to my Heart Pals. I also, embellished with some YNS Gumdrops.

I finished the inside of my card too and stamped a sentiment from the Heart Pals Stamp set and coloured up another adorable Heart Pals.

Thanks for stopping by and having a little look at my Reverse Confetti Heart Pals Stamp set.  Now, I double checked on the beadonor.ca  website and I am a registered organ and tissue donor...are you? Please click on the link to register or check to see if you are already a registered organ and tissue donor.

Reverse Confetti - Color Throwdown # 478 & Sketch Saturday # 498...Smitten Mittens

Hello stampin' friends! I always LOVE the great colour combos that they have at the Color Throwdown and this week's CTD478 is no exception! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this FUN colour combo and I am beyond thrilled to be the Featured Stamper and get to join the AMAZING CTD Crew!

I used MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Smooth White, Sour Apple, and Banana Split and I used MFT Premium Dye Ink in Razzle Berry and Sour Apple. I also used Distress Oxide Inks in Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Broken China and Fossilized Amber
I also took inspiration from the FAB Saturday Sketch # 498

 photo CTD478E_edited-RS5_zpsoe9a4lwa.jpg

When I saw the inspirational photo with the fun colour combo that they have for the CTD478 this week I pulled out my Reverse Confetti Smitten Mittens Stamp set. I thought this stamp set with the CTD color combo would make the perfect "punny" Valentine's Day card. I stamped the mittens with MFT Premium Dye Ink in Razzle Berry and Sour Apple and cut them out with the coordinating Smitten Mittens Confetti Cuts.

 photo CTD478B_edited-RS2_zpswmokmily.jpg

I also did a little inking with Distress Oxide Inks on Bristol paper to create the vibrant background with all the colours and added some shimmery splotches with Tattered Angles Shimmering Diamonds

 photo CTD478_edited-RS1_zpsgxpzrhsd.jpg

The mittens are layered over the Reverse Confetti Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts and I used a sentiment from the NEW Reverse Confetti Heart Filled Sentiments Stamp Set stamped on Smooth White Heavyweight Card cut out with the MFT Dimensional Banners Die-namics.  I replaced the word "heart" in the sentiment with a stamped heart from the RC Unicorn Wishes Stamp set.

 photo CTD478C_zpskupdljs3.jpg
I finished the inside of my card too...I added another pair of mittens from the Reverse Confetti Smitten Mittens Stamp set and a sentiment from the Heart Filled Sentiments Stamp set.
Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my Valentine's Day card for the CTD478 and the Saturday Sketch Challenge # 489. I hope you can make some time to get crafty and join the Color Throwdown # 478 this week!

Reverse Confetti - Sunday Stamps Challenge # 168 - Christmas Cheer!

Merry Christmas, stampin' friends! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas day filled with good food and good cheer spent with family and friends!

I'm stopping by to share my SSC168 card that I made with Reverse Confetti Christmas Bear Stamp set and Christmas Bear Confetti Cuts

I used the fab sketch that they have at Sunday Stamps Challenge - SSC168!

I used Reverse Confetti Card Stock in Brick and Lime Green and the patterned paper is from the RC Holly Jolly Quick Card Panels. I used the Lacy Scallop Frames Confetti Cuts and my Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics to cut out the centre of the panel to create the frame. I also used the Lacy Scallop Circle Confetti Cuts for the focal panel and popped up the Christmas bear and tree up on the panel with adhesive dots.

I coloured the Christmas bear and other images from the Christmas Bear Stamp set with my Copics, cut them out with the coordinating Confetti Cuts. I replaced the present that the bear holds with a take-out coffee from the Coffee and You Stamp set. I stamped a sentiment from the Christmas Cheer Stamp set on Reverse Confetti Cloud White Card Stock cut with the stitched fishtail banner Die-namics from Blueprints 2.  I embellished with some lime green hemp twine and sparkly red YNS Gumdrops

I finished the inside of my card too...I added a few more Copic coloured images on the Lacy Scallop Circle panel and another sentiment from the Christmas Bear Stamp set.
Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a little look at my Reverse Confetti, Christmas Bear card for the Sunday Stamp Challenge # 168.

Reverse Confetti - Warm Winter Wishes

Hello stampin' friends! I'm popping by to share a card I made today with the NEW Reverse Confetti Happy Winter Stamp set and Happy Winter Confetti Cuts. I also used the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts

I used MFT Heaveyweight Cardstock in Kraft, Steel Blue, Smooth White and Whip Cream

 photo RCHappyWinterB_edited-RS2_zpszocc74uf.jpg
I've been on Pinterest swooning over, chuckling at and pinning letterboards. I've totally fallen in love with letterboards, so, I wanted to make my own little "letterboard" for my card. I  wasn't able to get my hands on any corrugated felt so I decided to paint some Kraft corrugated cardstock with grey craft paint. I let it dry and then cut it out with my MFT Square STAX Die-namics and cut out the little letters from MFT Whip Cream Heavyweight Cardstock with the MFT LLD Little Letters Die-namics.
 photo RCHappyWinterF_edited-RS7_zpsh58ayorq.jpg

I framed my "letterboard" with the NEW Scallop Square Confetti Cuts and stamped the toque and nordic snowflakes from the Happy Winter Stamp set on Smooth White Heavyweight Cardstock with MFT Steel Blue and Timber Green Premium Dye Ink. I embellished with some steel grey hemp twine and sparkly white Gumdrops

 photo RCHappyWinterD_edited-RS4_zpsiwucqbz7.jpg

I finished off the inside of my card too....I added another Scallop Square frame and used the large tag from the Tag Duo Confetti Cuts. I stamped a sentiment from Sentimental Christmas Stamp set.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my little "letterboard" card with the Reverse Confetti Happy Winter Stamp set and Scallop Square Confetti Cuts

Your Next Stamp Sketch and Colour Challenge # 76...Deck the Halls

Hello stampin' friends! I made some time this weekend to play with NEW stamps from Your Next Stamp - Deck the Halls and join the Your Next Stamp Sketch and Colour Challenge # 76. This set is SO darn cute and I'm totally in love with these cute little animals dressed for winter and decking the halls. I'm excited that I was able to get a start on my Christmas cards and I know I will be making more cards with this darling Deck the Halls stamp set

The YNS Sketch Challenge # 76 is such a great sketch....I flipped it around so that it would work better with my images.

 photo YNS76B_edited-RS2_zpslfepybj2.jpg

I used the Tim Holtz Crackle Stencil and embossing paste tinted with Pumice Stone Distress Ink to make a stone textured background for the Deck the Halls door. I then cut out the stone panel with Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics. I tucked the scalloped Reverse Confetti Love Note panel cut from Reverse Confetti Baby Blue Cardstock under the tag. I tied the tag with some Hemp cord and added a sprinkling of Sparkly Navy Blue YNS Gumdrops.

 photo YNS76E_edited-RS6_zpskdnfhw5j.jpg
I stamped the poinsettia and holly and berries stamp from the Deck the Halls Stamp set randomly on the Brick Cardstock with embossing ink and embossed the images with clear embossing powder. I coloured up the door, steps and cute little animals from the Deck the Halls Stamp set with my Copics cut them out with the coordinating Deck the Halls Die set. I popped up the images on the embossed stone tag. I stamped a sentiment from the set on Kraft cardstock cut with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics

 photo YNS76F_edited-RS7_zpshonmcrmv.jpg

I finished off the inside of the card too....I adore the little fox from this set...he's my favourite and I coloured a second image for the inside of the card. I used the Reverse Confetti Love Note Confetti Cuts cut from Reverse Confetti Navy Cardstock and cut the Reverse Confetti Brick Cardstock with the Class Act Confetti Cuts. I clear embossed the Brick panel again and stamped another sentiment from the Deck the Halls Stamp set.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and having a little look at my card for the Your Next Stamp Sketch and Colour Challenge # 76 with the Deck the Halls Stamp set

Curtain Call Challenge - June 1 - Succulent - I'm Rootin' For You!

Hello stampin' friends! It is June 1st and that means it is time for another FUN Curtain Call Challenge. We have a beautiful inspirational photo for you to use or anything goes. I hope you can find a little crafty time and join us for the Curtain Call Inspirational Challenge - June 1 - Succulent.

This is the beautiful inspirational photo - June 1 - Succulent

 photo CurtainCallJune1A_edited-RS2_zpslsjoczqi.jpg

I was inspired by the photo that we have for the June 1 Curtain Call Challenge. I really wanted to see if I could make my own sweet little succulents. I searched through my stash of MFT felt and MFT flower Die-namics to create a bunch of different "succulents". I used the Royal Roses Die-namics, Rolled Roses Die-namics, Rolled Daisy Die-namics, Rolled Mum and Rolled Gardinea Die-namics. I also used the leaf dies from Blueprints 14 and Poinsettia Die-namics. I  sponged with Distress inks on the edges of the petals to get the variation in colour that is seen on many succulents. I was originally going to make a card with the felt succulents but I had too many to pick from and they were a little too big and bulky for a card. I shifted gears and decided to make a 3D project and used the MFT Trapezoid Treat Box Die-namics and the Flower Basket Die-namics cut from Snow Cone Heavyweight Cardstock

 photo CurtainCallJune1D_edited-RS4_zpscat6eand.jpg

Here's a detail shot looking down on the Flower Basket filled with felt "succulents". I stuffed the basket with tissue paper and then added some burlap and then adhered everything in place.

 photo CurtainCallJune1E_edited-RS5_zpst0r8xozz.jpg

The sentiment was rather serendipitous....the sentiment  caught my eye as it was on a treat tent (with a root-beer sucker) sitting on the shelf in my craft room. I decided to "re-purpose" this sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Sugary Sweet Sentiments Stamp set for this basket full of felt "succulents".

I stamped the sentiment with Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink on Whip Cream Heayweigh Cardstock cut with the Reverse Confetti Folded Tag Confetti Cuts. I Embellished a sprinkling of mint green sequence tied the Folded Tag with Hemp cord.

Thank SO much for stopping by and havin' a little look at my card for the Curtain Call Challenge June 1 - Succulents! I hope you can join this FUN challenge!
