Go Green DT Challenge
This is my first entry for the Go Green DT. This challenge was open, no restraints! (In other words, extremely difficult....) This DT will probably be the most challenging one of the three I´ve joined, but its a great one because it makes you think in a more earth friendly way!
I´ve been wanting to use newspapers for flowers for quite a while, I do love to make my own flowers! I also like the almost vintage look of the paper. It was somewhat difficult to shape the roses, I will have to work some more on them at later point! After I finished them I inked the edges using a pink ink pad, giving the petals a more flowery feel. I also fond a page that had a picture of a woman in a red/pink jacket to give the card a bit more colours.
I found the photo at the back of a newspaper. Unfortunately I did not remember to write down the name of the photographer or when it was taken. I do believe I remember it was taken in the fifties, but it might just as well have been taken last year. I love the way the couple is looking out onto the landscape. I feel they are on their way to something great. The hole worlds is at their feet!
