Dreamland Park with EBPSN Group

Here we are at the park
With our East bay Parent's of Special Needs Children Play Group
This is Sam, she is one of Holly's Classmates
Here is Holly zooming down the slide
On this day Citlali was able to join us too
This is Caleo, he is sweet as pie, and I think in 1st grade now.
I love this little "track suit" so adorable
This is a really fun playground in Aquatic park very close to our house
Its fun to see Holly playing here to compare to when she was little
Not that long ago she was too afraid to go down the tube slide at all

She is such a big girl on the big girl swings
Here she is with Citlali on the tire swing
Spinning and swinging all at once
Here is a second tire swing but it doesn't spin
It was so cute when Citlali started to give her a push
Citlali has had family in town and we were in Florida a few weeks back so we haven;t seen her in forever.
Here we are on the grass. That's Caleo's little sister
We had a big Parachute to play with and sit on in the grass
Holly is grumpy because I told her I was tired and didn't want to push her any more
But she got her way of course
and I was giving her a big push
She is such a happy girl, she loves the swing
Then they took another turn on the tire
There is Nathan riding with Holly too
They liked having the "big Kids" on there too
We all had some snacks and Holly played in the grass
It was a really beautiful day with a wonderful breeze
Check out this slide! its huge, I am amazed she is so brave now
Here is Nathan and Quinn taking a turn on the big tire Swing
After the park we went to public Market for lunch with Quinn, Nathan and Citlali
While we were there we ran into LeeLou
It was so cute to see her. Her and Holly were so excited.
The bad part was that on this day the ball pit was "closed" Holly was very unhappy about that
She survived and rode the rides instead
Mommy and daddy didn't get the most relaxing lunch but it was ok.

EBPSN Dreamland Park

Recently we met with our Special Needs Playgroup at Dreamland ParkIt was a busy day it we were running late, but we did get to see a few friends before they headed out.Afterwards we met some of the families at Picante for lunch. It is neat watching how Holly plays at different parks as she gets older. She goes on the slides now without a second thought, she goes on the big girl swings, its awesome!

Friends @ The Albany Library

When we can, when we are awake, and when Mommy has the motivation, we head over to the Albany Library at 4:30 on Wednesday's for Music time. It's a lot of fun, and very different from Music Class. The teacher is a bit cooky and sings all types of neat folk songs, and other songs that are not typical of what we hear at other places. We ran into our friend Nathan and his mom Irene. We hadn't seen them for a long time, but now we run into them quite often at the Library, it is a lot of fun. We know Nathan from our Special needs Playgroup.Another thing that is really fun about the class is that the kids get to play with the instruments for the entire session, there are several tambourine's, many shakers, and a few crackle makers. Its fun for them to play with the instruments the entire time. Holly is also eager to make friends with the teacher so that she can play with the guitar. Here is Holly with one of those "Crackle" maker's I don't know what they are actually called. But the bend and make little clinky noises, they are fun to play with.We were hoping to see Sarah, she almost always comes with us to the library, but on this particular day I didn't call Isabel to tell her that we were going to go until 5 minutes before while I was driving. The class is pretty short, only about 30 minutes, but we sure do pack in a lot of content, many neat songs, little dances, and imitation games. Recently we have been singing and playing "London Bridge"Holly is in the habit now of rolling around on the floor, I am not sure where it comes from, she will lay down with her but sticking up then eventually roll over, she doesn't lay her legs flat yet, her knees are always up.After the Music Session we went into the children's area of the library, there is a little computer there, the kids were playing a game. Holly was very intrigued. We hung out for a few minutes and then headed home.
