Our weather changed very quickly in the last 24 hours.
Yesterday Mar. 30 was a bright warm sunny 15 C day. I was able to just wear a T shirt. As you can se by the following mural photos it was bright.
So this morning I woke up to snow on the ground. there were high winds and driving snow in the night.
Winter just does not want to let go this year! We've had snow every week for over two months now. Earlier this week we had severe thunderstorms and now more snow today.
ReplyDeleteI love those murals! You did have a nice sunny day for taking photos!
I'm surprised that you would have nasty weather at this time.
DeleteCoincidentally we've had a very similar change: 20 degrees one day last week and now just a sprinkling of snowflakes and a viciously cold north wind. At least it shouldn't last too long at this time of year. I see in my diary that we also had a few flakes of snow on April 8th last year.
ReplyDeleteSpring is a change so lots of mixing of cold and warm air.
DeleteThat was, indeed, a quick change!
ReplyDeleteI hope you got your winter woolies out
It's not cold so no worries about the woolies.
DeleteWell, it must have felt great to be able to go out in a t-shirt, even if it was short-lived!
ReplyDeleteIt was great to go with bare arms.
DeleteSnow is not done with us yet either!
ReplyDeleteWe'll get snow for quite a while yet.
Deleteit is a somewhat similar pattern here but a day later. Yesterday got warmish, but today sure isn’t.
ReplyDeleteYou've had much more extreme weather than we've had.
DeleteIt's March, the unpredictable month! Lovely murals. The first one especially appeals to me. The message in the second is thoughtful and bears remembering.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is a motto on the side of the Catholic social services building.
DeleteThat was quite a change. Your high temps on the warm days were warmer than ours here in very chilly windy California. I hope those warm temps return for you.
ReplyDeleteThat's a big surprise.
Delete"BE GRATEFUL FOR THE GIFT...GIVE IT BACK" There's no way I am giving any gifts back mate!
ReplyDeleteWell, that's a motto on the side of the Catholic social services building.
DeleteSix inches of snow yesterday morning but all gone today but bitterly cold after a week of Spring weather.
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable that you would have that much snow.
DeleteSounds very much like our spring weather, although I am pretty sure we are no longer in winter...knock on wood.
ReplyDeleteI think all spring weather can be very changeable.
DeleteI guess the weather can't make up its mind. It's cold here and rainy after being nice for the last few days. No snow but rain and wind.
ReplyDeleteI guess we'd better like variety.
DeleteThanks for the bright murals to brighten my day!
ReplyDeleteSome murals are great and some not so much!
DeleteThat is about what we had, Keith! Now, it is snowing. Again.
ReplyDeleteYou've had more extreme weather than we've had.
DeleteI am watching the last of our surprise snowfall melting away. I hope it warms up and stays that way now.
ReplyDeleteWell. it ain't gonna happen here. We'll still get more snow.
DeleteIt's so unpredictable this time of year.
ReplyDeleteBut if it's snow you'll be happy.
DeleteI love that first mural very much. We had a wonderful day yesterday and threw open the windows to let the fresh air in. Today it is snowing.
ReplyDeletethe first mural is a motto on the side of the Catholic services building.
DeleteDitto. Beautiful yesterday; cold, wind, snow today.
ReplyDeleteI wish some of the graffiti artists here could see your murals. Red Deer is way better than Seattle. Speaking of weather, sort of, do you see the Northern lights in Red Deer? There was a big display earlier this week seen in US and Canada. Here is an article in Washington Post ...

Spring is well known for very changeable weather.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteWe can have winter, spring, summer and fall weather, all in one day. Love the murals, great finds. Have a happy weekend!
Our weather has been up and down here, as well. Typical Canadian weather!
ReplyDeleteOur daughter in Chicago had snow in April. You just never know.
