chicken?

 

i decorated for thanksgiving today. 

lola helped me.

she asked me why we have so many chickens around our house.  ha ha ha.

i remember her calling the turkeys, chickens last year as well.

makes me laugh and i just don’t have it in me to tell her they are turkeys.

i like that she calls them chickens.

well- today we lost the husband to work and the boys to school.  it is kinda quiet here,  lola and i will miss them.

it was hard to get going.

i guess routine is good…but we had a great time over the break.

well my post yesterday never got up. i have some sick kiddos and they NEEEEED me to HOLD them. yikes.

i don’t like tp start out the season with sickness. they have head colds and i am doing all i can to not get it. yuck.

so anyways today has been better already. wahoo.

i have a great friend that new what i needed this morning. YOUR THE BEST!!! she brought me my favorite fountain diet coke. so good.

i did a little sewing on this card. what do ya think…i don’t like it. but once it is one there it isn’t coming off.

well i am in denial that winter is here. lots and lots of snow fell here. i think we got 7 inches for our first storm. booooo.

i ran wool felt through the cuttlebug with the round scallop nestabilities to create the pink flower. i new trick for me and i think i will be doing more of it.

it is monday and sketch time over at lizzie anne designs. see it here. another great sketch by meridith. is it crazy that it is the 23rd of june. seriously time passes so quickly.

no word on my hard drive yet. maybe that means that can't fix it. (sob, cry, cry)

or maybe that means they are working on it. (happy face)

i just want to know so i don't have to worry any longer. but i really can't image that my pictures are gone forever. that is just not acceptable. so they really have to fix it.

i have been having fun doing challenges. it is so nice to sit down and already know the layout. this is this weeks lizzie anne challenge. i liked the stripes in this layout. very fun.

i know this card is a little, um bold. but i like bold and bright.
