Upcycle, Repurpose, Reuse…

That’s what I’m doing this week to make something spooky for Hallowe’en.

I’ve used some of the pieces from the Haunted House kits to make a panel – you could do this with the leftovers or do this next year to give them a revamp.

Take a panel, paint it dark blue and then stencil the spider’s web in purple and that’s your background done.

After that I just added a yellow moon and all the spooky bits and pieces.

I finished it off with some tiny strung beads and a clip.

I’ve made a vintage looking Christmas card for That's Crafty! this week using the Stamperia Christmas Greetings Collection – I loved the blue tones used here. Once I’d worked out which backing paper I was going to use it was just a case of choosing a die cut bauble and adding some embellishments.

A Library of Owls!

I’m using the Stamperia Vintage Library Collection from That's Crafty! this week. I actually made this a while ago and then it was so popular the Collection went out of stock before I could post it. Pleased to say it’s all back in stock now.

I chose the Filmstrip Box kit as it made me think of library ladders! You can design it how you like - I wanted my owls and books perched up the ladders.
