It's Christmas!

Yes, you won't believe it, it's Christmas over on the PaperArtsy Blog this evening. The theme was Baubles and Bling and I went for it in a big way! Not traditional Christmas colours though (well, not for me).

If you get a chance, hop on over and take a look!

PaperArtsy new releases....

Drum roll please for Kay Carley's  new designs for PaperArtsy.
I was thrilled to be able to work with Kay's new products - A5 sets, Minis and stencils.
Here are a few sneak peeks of what I made:

To see the full reveal, head on over to the blog where there will be staggered posts:
19.00 Kay Carley
19.30 Ellie Knol
20.00 Helen Chilton (ie. me!)

Everyone's used the stamps differently so you can get lots of different ideas.

Enjoy!

Claybord...

I'm really excited by this stuff - it's Stampbord but in much bigger sizes.
In my class at The Craft Barn on Saturday, we're going to be decorating an 8x8 piece with some of the lovely PaperArtsy Scrapcosy stamps:

You can etch into it just as with Stampbord but we're working on a bigger scale.

So, if you fancy having a go, just follow the link above.

Distress Oxides on cards....

I've got a class at The Craft Barn on Thursday looking again at Distress Oxides. We'll be trying out various techniques and then, as this is the Card Club, we'll be making cards. Here are some of the ideas I've come up with:

We're using PaperArtsy Scrapcosy and Kay Carley stamps for something a little bit different.

Cubbey holes..

This is a Tando Cubbey that I made for the Craft Barn blog using Kim Dellow PaperArtsy stamps and Imagination Crafts Starlight paints:

These come as kits to make up the separate boxes and you can arrange them as you like:

I decide to use the smallest one like a plant plot. They come with or without apertures - personally I liked the apertures as you can get more depth.

Scrapcosy Delights.....

.....at The Craft Barn.
On Sunday 23 April we're going to be decorating this lovely box with the new PaperArtsy Scrapcosy stamps:

The dividers inside mean you can use it to store seeds or keep birthday cards or recipes or a list of your stash etc. etc...... Lots of possibilities.
If you want to join in the fun, just follow the link above.
