Lightbulb moment...

 I've got a fun project on the That's Crafty! blog today using acetate - it's a 12x12 sheet and I'm going  to use it in three different ways over the next three weeks.

Key Hanger...

My last key from the set became a key hanger.

I used painted cotton reels as plant pots to show off the sweet peas and make a sign.

You can just see here that I've made a border using the head of the flowered key.

I just screwed some hooks into the MDF from which to hang your keys.

Hanging key...

 For this key, I decided to make a wall hanging:

The keys themselves are really easy to stamp on and then I die cut some spare Craftyboard to make the plaques. I've used some of the new stamps, masks and Craftyboard shapes to decorate them.

Rusty old key...

These MDF keys from That's Crafty! are wonderful to play with. You get three in a pack, all different, and this is the first one I made.

I decided to rust it up a bit using the trusty cinnamon method - the rivets were just large flat back pearls that I stuck on first.

That's Crafty! also made Craftboard sheets of key designs to go with the new stamp designs - this one is embossed in a mixture of silver and copper. The wings come from one of the stamp sets, stamped and embossed onto silver card that's been coloured with alcohol inks.

This is just the first of my keys - I'll show you the others at a later date.
