Easter Card for Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge

Hello everyone, I do hope you're all well. Today I would like to show you a guest DT card I made for Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge. I won their challenge a while ago and they asked me if I would like to be a GDT!

So their challenge for this week is...........
EASTER
And here is the card I made for there challenge:

The little basket on the side, we brought at a crafting shop the other day and I though it fit perfectly with this card!

I used a very cute digital stamp from Lilly of the Valley and colored it with the following Copics:

RV34, RV32 and RV0 - for the little pink bunny
G17, G14 and G12 - for the little green bunny and the grass
Y15, Y11 and Y00 - for the little yellow bunny
B05, B02 and B000 - for the little blue bunny
W3 - around the stamp for a shadow
I know bunnies aren’t really colored, BUT when my mother was little she said there were Easter Shows in her birth town and every year the people would sell real live bunnies colored blue, pink, green etc.
So you DO get bunnies that are colored!!

I wrote Easter Fun as a sentiment and stuck it in the top left corner.

In the top right corner and in the bottom left corner I stuck a corner with three different sized yellow pearls.

I put a piece of ribbon in the middle of the card and made a bow on the left side. I added a little yellow pearl in the middle of the bow.

In the bottom right hand corner, I put a basket colored it with my copics and glazed with “Royal Coat Dimensional Magic.” I also stuck a little yellow pearl on this bow.

Here is a picture of real, little basket I decorated. I made a bow with the same ribbon I used on the card.

So this is my card! Please do hop over to Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge and take a look at their great challenge!!
With this Easter card I would like to take part in the following challenges:

Crazy Challenge -  Easter
Die Cut Dreams -  Easter

Polly Craft - Easter
Woodware USA - Anything goes
Creative Inspirations -  Easter.
Sparkles Forum - Easter.
Shannon's Sentiments  - Include an Animal

Till next time

A GDT Easel, Friendship Card

Hi everyone, today I made a GDT card for Corrosive Challenge Blog.
You can read more about me becoming a GDT on Corrosive Challenge Blog here.

I decided to make an easel card! This week Corrosive Challenge has a sketch and I had this beautiful paper.
I love it!

Just a reminder that every time you play along this month your name will be in the drawing for:
$20 GC to Paper Makeup Stamps for rubber or digi stamps
A set of PMS Halloween stamps
Some chipboard and flowers
AND The coveted Guest DT spot for October!

I used one of my new Whiff Of Joy stamps and coloured it with the following Promarkers:
Sandston – for her hair
Dusky Pink – for her skin
Carmine – for her dress
Apple – for her top and shoes
Yellow – for the pattern one her top and book and
Cool Grey – for a shadow all around the s

With the help of my mother, I drew patterns on the scallop.

I absolutely love these flowers!
I bought them at a Scrapbook shop some time ago and it fit this card perfectly.

I wrote “Thank You For Your Friendship” in the top right hand corner.

Here is the inside and bottom strip of the easel card.
I wrote “You Read Me Like A Book”, at the bottom so the two sentences together read: “Thank You For Your Friendship, You Read Me Like A Book”

I still don’t know to whom I’m going to give this card.
But I’ll know when I know!
Please hop over to Corrosive Challenge Blog and take a look at the DT members beautiful crafting.
I also took part in the following challenges with this card:

Bunny Zoe’s – summer Days
Insy Winsy Dicin – Summer Fun

An “All About Babies” Card

Hello everyone this week I made two cards!
My first one was an easel card, and then a baby card.
A few weeks ago I made a Christmas card and to my surprise, I won The Corrosive Challenges Blog, and this is what I won:
3 digis from Phindy's place
2 packs of stickers
A pack of brads
AND
A Guest Designer spot on the DT for August.
Yeah!! I’m thrilled to be GDT for a month.
The theme for this weeks challenge is “All About Babies”.

This was so easy, since we have so many babies in our house!

Some time ago I won a $20 voucher at Sew Many cards and digital stamps, but that was quite some time ago. I never had pencils to colour Digi stamps so I never used the voucher.
(now I have Promarkers)
A few weeks ago I ordered some rubber stamps from Whiff of Joy and was hoping it would be here in time for this weeks baby’s challenge!
Unfortunately they haven’t arrived yet! I was very disappointed but my mother reminded me about my Sew Many Cards voucher. I could buy seven Digi stamps and “Tayla Stork” is one of them.
I struggled a bit not to let the ink run with my Promarkers but after a few attempts, one turned out okay. I also heat it with my mom’s hair dryer, before I coloured it!
If you have a secret to keep digit stamps from running when coloured with Promarkers or Copics, PLEASE share it with me!

I used the flowing Promarkers for this stamp:

Dusky Pink – for the body of the duck and mouth of the little animal
Apple, Rose Pink and yellow – for the Duck’s hat
Yellow - for the ribbon on the duck neck, Welcome baby tag and duck’s Bick
Prussian – for one of the patches on the duck
Gold – for the feet of the duck and the baby in the parcel
Sky blue – for the baby bag and a patch on the duck
Cool Grey 1 – for a shadow around the stamp.

Here I wrote Bundle of Joy.
I though it will fit the card well!

I cut out little circles of images with names and stuck them all over the card, which gave the card a real “All About Babies”-feeling!!
It was very easy to make a bundle of joy card since we already had 8 bundles of joy in our house!
Here is a picture of our newest bundle of joy.

Michael is really growing up so fast!
He is 6 months and is so sweet.

When ever you smile at him, he smiles back at you.

Michael is also now starting to play with toys - so cute!!

Three of the other Bundles of Joy in our house.
David (3 1/2 years), Andrew (5 years) and Little Daniel who turned two today!

So as I said, it is so easy to make a baby card, with babies all over the house.

I used the Friday Sketchers Challenges sketch for this card:

This beautiful sketch is by Tanja from Germany and I just love it!
I also took part in the following challenges:

Digi Doodles Shop Best – Punch of Cute Me
Totally Gorjuss – Baby-Baby
Simon Says Challegnes - Going Dotty
Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes
Cow Girl Sunday - Animals and Bugs
And now I’m off to celebrate my brother’s birthday!

Have a blessed week

A Fathers Day Card - By Danika

Hello every one, happy Friday.
Before I begin, last week Danika also took part in a few challenges with her invitation card.
On her Birthday (Tuesday the 14th) we got an e-mail to inform her she made the top 4 at the Raise The Bar challenge!
They also asked her if she would like to be a Once Off Guest Designer.
Danika said yes!
This week the theme at Raise the Bar is: “What A Special Guy”.

She made the card for my dad.

Here is little Danika’s card (She turned 7 on Tuesday).

She coloured the stamp all by herself.

Danika also wrote ‘1st’ on the piece of wood, the boy is holding, because our dad is the Best, or in other words 1st to us.

Danika also made a pocket for a little note on the card and it is prefect.
On the tag she wrote Pappa (Daddy) in her own hand writing.

Here Danika is punching a hole in the tag to put the ribbon through.
As you can see she loves being a little princess!
The crown on her head she got as a DIY gift on her Birthday.
She wore a lovely princess dress my mom made.

As I already said, Danika turned 7 on Tuesday the 14th of June.

My Mom and I made Danika a set of 7 Pre-cut cards, she can colour and assemble on her own.
Everything in this present was off-cuts from my card making supplies!
With these Pre-cut cards, she will now be able to make her own cards on Monday-nights when I make my cards!

She made this Fathers Day Card from one of the Pre-Cut cards.
She also took part in the flowing Challenges:
Crafty Cardmakers - Cards For Men (challenge #23)
Crafts and Me Challenges- Friends and Family (challenge #6)
Cupcake Craft Challenges - One For the Boys (challenge #95)
My Time To Craft - Extra Special (challenge #95)

So I hope you like my little sister’s card.

Remember to pop over to Raise the Bar and check out the DT members’ beautiful creations.
Have a blessed weekend

My first GDT card

Hello every one, I hope you’re all well, some of you may know that I’m a guest designer for Stampin for the weekend in June.
I’m so exited!
Stampin for the weekend post challenges every First Friday and Third/Fourth Friday of the month, which means that the first challenge of the month may run for three weeks instead of two!

This week the theme is summer or travel and here is my interpretation:

I used my own lay out. I always use a layout, but this week I just could not find the right one, so this was a real challenge.

For the first time I used two stamps for this card.
The first is a stamp from the Whiff Of Joy collection and is one of my favourites. She is a young mother who is pregnant!
I coloured her pink and put some golden glitter on the shoes, some silver on her ring.
This stamp makes me think of my mother.

The stamp has the same hair style as my mom.
My mom pregnant with David 4years ago

A few weeks ago, Friday Sketchers Challenge, turned 2 years old and had a blog hop, I won one of the DT member’s blog prizes which was:

Three rubber stamps – a boy, girl and a garden chair. I used the stamp of the garden chair for the pregnant mother to sit on.

Part of the prize was also little butterflies that you cut out and if you want to glitter it and put some gems on

Aud also send me a card with a lovely letter inside.

This is one of the butterflies I won. I placed the butterfly on a yellow, embossed with dots, circle. I glittered the butterfly and put three little gems on.
I also bend the wings a bit so that it looks like a real butterfly.
In the upper right hand corner I made a photo corner with zig-zag paper, in the middle I wrote Celebrate Life and put it on a circle. And I put a flower on the upper left hand corner.

I hope my card inspired you for the summer/travel theme.
Please do pop over to the other Design Member’s blogs to see what they have created for the Stampin for the Weekend challenge.

Don’t forget to link your summer/travel creation on the Stampin for the Weekend Challenge.
I can’t wait to visit your blogs and look at all your beautiful creations.

With this card I also took part in a few other challenges:
