The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

My girls March 2014

Reagan was feeling pretty good about her outfit for school today. She asked me if I'd take a picture of her.

 Babies in the toyroom

The girls in their saucy new pants from Roach, one of my BFF's from college.

Volunteering in Easton's class March 2014

Whenever Brock is working from home and the babies are down for a nap (I guess that would be the perfect storm) I get a chance to volunteer in the kids classes. Today when I got to Easton's class he was at recess so I got to see him finishing his snack and then play with him and his friends. Today the game was Power Rangers.
One of EZ's best buddies, Brinley.
Center time
Happy St. Patrick's Day. Easton said he could wear this shirt bc there was a green Ninjago guy on it. (I obviously don't have all the names down!)
Of course I was too late getting my camera out for the class picture. Here they are dispersing!

Dad's trip to Spring Training Baseball in Arizona March 2013

Paul Christensen, Brock, Adam Koch, Ryan Blad, Eric Reiwerts, & Jeff Jensen
Here's what we did while dad was off on his trip.

Park after school

Went to Easton's Jog-a thon

Easton was a speed racer! His teacher told me he got the most laps of the kindergartners. It didn't surprise me bc that guy wouldn't stop for anything! I think he even ran over a few kids.

Steph running with her girls! They invited the parents to run a few laps with their kids and when I asked EZ he said, "No thanks Mom!...you'll just slow me down" What a dagger to the heart! He was a man on a mission.

Give this guy a popsicle...he deserves it.....and is definitely excited about it!

EZ came home with the best surprise. He was chosen to be star of the week for the following week. I was so happy for him bc he would talk a lot about how he wished he'd get chosen. With the award they get to be the leader the whole week in school, they get to present their star of the week poster (below) which talks about some of their favorites, they get to bring their favorite toy to share with the class, and they get to bring a snack one day to share (which was what Easton was looking most forward to). Right when we got home he got right to it. He was excited to start his first school project. He wasn't about to wait (since he had all weekend to do it). Way not to be a procrastinator Bubba!

I had to send Daddy a picture of Sweet Harper sleeping with her little doll.
Of course the night that I'm alone Reagan and Easton wake up in the middle of the night and want to sleep in bed with me. Being the sucker that I am, and loving any chance to snuggle with my kids, I tell them to hop in bed. But that creates a problem for when I wake up and exercise before they wake up. So we all sleep in so I don't wake them up and after we eat breakfast I ask Reagan if she will watch the kids for me while I bike upstairs. So every once in a while I yell down, "how's it going down there??" So Reagan decides to make me a note and brings it up to me. I guess just saying "we're fine" won't suffice. Well I was so proud of her bc the girls we're happy the whole time, the big kids didn't fight, and Momma got her work out in. Reagan wanted me to take these pictures to send to Dad on his trip bc she was so proud of her first babysitting job going over so well. She was so proud that she thought of turning on Winnie the Pooh for the girls too. She should be proud! She did a great job!

Now it's time for some T-ball
Here EZ is playing catcher for the first time.

Easton decided that breakfast needed to be an underwear only kind of meal today.

I'm sure this is the case in most homes with kids but I don't think there are too many weekend mornings that go by with out fort making. The babies LOVE it and the big kids love making them forts too, although they start to get frustrated when the babies mess up the forts!

Daddy was definitely missed! Is it Sunday night yet? I need to be tagged off!
So after forts we have some time since church isn't til 1:00. We put the babies down for a nap and Reagan and I make her a scripture bag. Since she's about to turn 8 soon she wants to have her own special bag. Of course Reagan doesn't want the standard bag so she asks if we can make one that looks more like a purse. So following Reagan's instructions this is what we come up with.
