The Ebmeyer Family

The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

Play group with Zoe, Reagan, & Luke

Dinner, Smores, and fun at the Blads

Mo came to town so let's get together! And of course the boys had to get all crazy. I am imbarassed to say that's my husband in that picture.

"L" to the "W" July 2009

One of our favorite things to do at LW is to just chill on our porch, look at the amazing view and feed the ducks. So that's what we did the second we checked into our room.

Here we are at Sea World for the day.
When Shamu went under the water Reagan would ask, "Mommy where'd Shampoo go?"
Here we are after eating our picnic lunch on the lawn.
I haven't been to Sea World since I was a kid. I forgot about all the fun kid stuff. Now they have a water park and even a Sesame Street show. How can you top that?
Now back to LW for more swimming, golf, tennis, fishing.....
....and of course lots of good dinnners when you're with the Ebmeyers.

Hanging with my VB Hommies

My old VB coach and trainer came to town so a few of us "oldies but goodies" got together to reminisce about the "good 'ol days".....man are we ever getting old. I'm beginning to think I never played VB. I couldn't remember anything.
Gale and James were quite the host & hostess. All the kids sat outside on the driveway and watched movies on the "Big Screen". Reagan thought she'd died and gone to heaven.....movies, endless popcorn, and tons of "BIG girls" to hang out with!
Brock even had fun bc he and Jessie could battle it out and not have to listen to all of our old boring college stories....although Jesse was around for most of them.

Circus Anyone? July 22nd 2009

Happy Birthday cousin Taylor! Thanks so much for inviting us to your fun Birthday party at the Circus! Here are a few of them on our way in. Do you think they're excited?!
So cool to see the ginormous elephants!

Even Easton loved it!!

Street Fair July 14th 2009

One of our favorite things to do as a family is walk or ride our bikes down to Main St. at the Pier for the weekly street fair. This night Brock had to work late so I took the kids down. I wasn't sure how Easton would fare since it was going to be his first time in the bike trailer. He was a champ and Reagan thought it was to coolest to have her little bro riding with her.

Reagan is a swimmin' fool (Summer 2009)

The only thing Reagan loves more than swimming is chocolate. We all know that I don't let her have that too often so off we go to the pool almost daily. Following are some of our swimming pictures from this summer.
Thank goodness we know people who have pools. This is one we frequent. Today we invited some friends to join us. What a party!!
I love this picture! I can't take credit for it though. My friend took this of our kids. We were at a bonfire and of course Luke and Reagan B-line it straight to the ocean. We had been there for all of 5 minutes and they were already soaked! Not thinking we'd be swimming in the ocean since it was 7pm, I didn't have any extra clothes. Good thing we had a fire roaring!!
This jump reminds me so much of "Super Grover"......Who's been watching too much Sesame Street? Reagan with some of her cousins at our vacation with the Ebs at the Lawrence Welk Resort in San Diego.
The perfect pool treat, Popsicles....let the chlorine just clean them right up!
EZ made his debut in the pool. Most of the time he just lies on a blanket in the shade but today we brought him in too. Maybe he'll be a little fish one day like Reagan but for now he's not a huge fan of the cool water.

The only thing I love more than going to the beach is going to the beach on Saturday when Daddy comes with. Then I can actually sit for a bit and leave all the entertaining and GETTING WET to Daddy.......Well, that was the original plan until (see picture below) Stephanie talked me into going in ourselves. I swear I use to love going swimming in the ocean. But now that I have kids I rarely go. Steph has a goal of getting in at least once a year so Elise, and I made the plunge to support her in her efforts. I swear I found sand in my ears for days after that. This picture cracks me up bc we look like we're about to die out there.....we look like the epitome of "fish out of water"
