THE GHOSTS OF OLD WARDEN ABBEY HOUSE - NEW PARA-DOCUMENTARY WITH NIGHT INVESTIGATION

Seldom am I allowed to shoot anything from an ancient property, and particularly one which is 500 years old. But here was such an opportunity as I took a break from the `modern world` by renting for a few days stay, a house which originally formed part of a large 16th century mansion which had in turn been built from the remains of a former Cistercian abbey.

The house had a very pleasant environment although previous renters going back over 20 years had reported varying tales of paranormal activity.

Having decided on my own to shoot a night investigation I was beset with innumerable problems in setting up the shoot.

These ranged from:

1) Wireless microphones persistently refusing to work at first - despite the batteries being fully charged.
2) A new large battery I use for my IR light was flat, so I had to struggle without the usual flood of IR illumination.
3) My cellphone was completely drained.
4) Video and audio in the night shoot was affected by reduced audio and focussing issues.

These problems were recorded in the house day book as affecting electrical equipment which either refused to work, or even refused to switch off with these items apparently coming back to life in the middle of the night.

All in all, it was an interesting if not problematic experience.

Despite all, I managed to capture some EVP, and particularly the whine of a dog.

I also saw quite clearly a huge white flash of energy measuring some 2` x 1` move quickly across the room. Sadly, it was not recorded to tape despite my best expectations.

I hope you enjoy this investigation which will commence from the link below at 10pm (GMT) tonight.

IS HQ FOR MAJOR U.K CONSTRUCTION COMPANY HAUNTED?

The entrance to the hall.
Spooky goings-on at Kier, who might be the only listed building firm to have a haunted headquarters — at Tempsford Hall in Bedfordshire.

Staff have reported strange happenings in the basement of the hall, which was originally built in 1769 and then sold to Kier in 1964.

According to local lore, back in 1848 a mysterious white figure was seen and a man in mourning robes looking at roses. Not to mention loud bangs and furniture moving around of its own accord.

New chief executive Haydn Mursell, who took over in July, says he hasn’t seen anything yet though...

History:

The original hall was built in 1769 for Sir Gillies Payne; it remained in the Payne family until 1824 when it was sold to Colonel William Stuart.

Following a fire the house was rebuilt in 1898 and in 1933 Kathleen Wynne, who had been born a member of the Stuart family, inherited the house from a distant relative.

During World War II it was used by the Special Operations Executive as an agent reception and pre-flight preparation centre.  After the War it was acquired by Henry Hales who used it as a clinic until 1964 when he sold it to its present owners, Kier Group.

PARTIAL MANIFESTATION CAUGHT ON CAM AT HAUNTED CLOPHILL CHURCH

A PAIR of paranormal investigators have captured 'video evidence' of a supernatural being in a deserted Bedfordshire church.

The UK Haunted team posted their spooky outing to St Mary's Church, Clophill, on YouTube earlier this week.

Alex Duggan and Michael York, based in Northampton, are the duo behind the footage and say they only noticed the apparition after a fan pointed it out.

Alex said: "We actually shot the video in the summer of 2012 but last week someone commented on the footage saying that they could see something. When we slowed it down it was obvious. [Watch the video below]

"At first I thought it was glare from the infra red light but it seems to be moving in a different direction from the camera.

"Slowing it down, you can see it does actually turn into the shape of the figure that turns its head, looks and then disappears."

The experienced ghosthunter says that he and the team have had other supernatural experiences in the grounds of the church.

"It's a pretty eerie place, right in the middle of a field", Alex added. “I was in the graveyard a few months ago when I heard a woman shriek. At another point I was standing on a grave - but didn’t realise it - and through my voice box gadget I heard the name ‘Frank’.
“I looked down and saw that I was standing on the grave of a man named Frank.”

For decades St Mary’s has been at the centre of haunted tales: one involves a coven of witches who supposedly held a Black Mass at the church one dark night in March 1963, and whose evil spirits still linger around the ruined building.

Reports of locals camping out on the night of Halloween night in a bid to witness these ungodly goings on are also not unheard of.

Last year, the church featured in independent feature film The Paranormal Diaries: Clophill directed by local man Kevin Gates,

”Before we came we had heard lots of stories about demonic activity at the church and we wanted to see it for ourselves”, Alex added.

When it comes to naysayers, he is adamant that the Clophill footage speaks for itself.
"I would say 'be open minded, but dont be fooled'. You see these things on TV and think 'that's a load of rubbish' but when you are in control of the environment like we were, you know what is real and what is not.

"We would never say to people 'you have to believe this', we leave it open for other people to decide."

The video is excellent in as much as it shows a partial light manifestation. I`ve captured these anomalies quite a bit over the years, and I actually am able to see these anomalies clearly on any investigation when they appear, or more frequently in my own home.

Here are two videos of such anomalies that I wish to share with you.
