Hey everyone!
I was at the Alford Inn Quilt Shop yesterday and we were talking about Thangles and how easy they make half square triangles. (I think you all know how I love them.) So, I was thinking how fun it would be to give some away, so I picked up a pack and a couple of fat quarters for you!
So all you need to do to win some Thangles to try, is leave me a comment telling me you follow this blog in some form or fashion AND tell me what your favorite holiday tradition is and share details on your blog about it. I need some fresh ideas. It doesn't matter what holiday.(It's okay if you don't have a blog, just tell me that in the comments.)
Also you can blog about the giveaway and get another entry! It can be in the same post as the holiday traditions.
Be sure to leave your blog post link in your comment! And I will need some way to contact you if you win so be sure you are not a no-contact blogger or just leave your email in that spacey way. :)
Giveaway ends Wednesday, November 10th at Noon, Central Time.
Good luck!
I follow you!!

Hi A.J.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to give the thangles a try. So far, I haven't succumbed to the temptation, but hey, a girl has to cave sometime!
Please enter me in the giveaway.
BTW, my confirmation word is: thilyga, kind of rhymes with "silly gal" don't you think?

Okay, I've been wondering this for a while: What ARE Thangles? Regardless, I'm sure I would like to win some. : )
ReplyDeleteHoliday tradition: I would have to go with my Advent Calendar. I put pieces of paper in each pocket with a different holiday activity that my girls and I can share. We had lots of fun with that last year. I blogged about it in my Advent Calendar tutorial post.
I would have to say one of my favorite holiday traditions is a pub crawl that my friends created called Festivus. Each December a huge group of friends gathers for breakfast and a gift exchange. The gifts have to be something you can wear or a prop that needs to be used or worn for the duration of the pub crawl. Everyone must also bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. After the exchange we pub crawl around the city dressed in our crazy costumes. If you get caught not using your gift you have to do a shot. Not very family friendly, I know. But it's good adult fun.
ReplyDeleteHoliday tradition = reading the night before christmas and leaving water out for rudolph. (don't forget to put red food coloring in it while the kiddies sleep!!)
ReplyDeleteAnd bundt rolls christmas morning!!
I follow you and I love Thangles! Our favorite tradition is to decorate the tree and then turn down all of the other lights and lay on the floor looking up at the underside of the tree with our children.
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower and look forward to more of your postings.
