Paper Issues: September Working Title!

Hi Happy Arty Days Friends & Fans!

Welcome back for a new round of Paper Issues

Before we get started on the September edition of Working Title,
I just wanted to say how inspired y'all make me feel!
When I see your projects in the challenge albums I am in total awe!
So ThankYOU for participating and keeping our challenges fun, and fabulous!

Speaking of fun, you're going to love how we're working our titles this month;

we're heading somewhere over the RAINBOW!
So sing me a rainbow & play along!

 You can interpret how you wish, but here are a few ideas to get you started:
*use a rainbow of alphas to create your title
*use the word 'rainbow' in your title
*position your title in a rainbow shape
*place your title over a rainbow
*use the rainbow cut file (Magic Spring Unicorn) with your title

I really loved creating for this challenge - here's what I came up with.....

"Live Your Dreams"

Oh this makes me happy!!!

In case you hadn't already guessed it, 

my daughter dreams of being a professional ballerina, so this page is a special one for her 

'journey album' !

I've used a mix of Pink Paislee's Summer Lights and Paige Evans Oh My Heart collections, as well as the Magic Spring Unicorn cut file from the Paper Issues store. 

Let's get a closer look at my title....

Isn't this striking?!! 

I have used a rainbow of Thickers to form my title, and curved it around the rainbow cut file for maximum impact!

I love the result! 

I have also featured a sub title on my layout too.....

The reason for sharing my sub title with you is because it was a chipboard phrase sticker, love your laugh, that I cut with my trusty scissors to better fit my page. 

Yep! Cutting up phrases to create titles (or sub titles) is also a nifty idea to use up that stash!

Anyways, enough chatter!

Hi Happy Arty Days Friends!

Welcome to Round 2 of the August edition of Paper Issues'

Yay! I love this challenge, it always pushes me to think a lil more about my creating!

Here's what I came up with.....

"Mermaid Hair"

Oh, isn't this preeeeeeetty!

The beach is hands down, without a doubt,

 our all time favourite Summer activity!

And isn't she the sweetest with her beach hair?!!

I LOVE how this page turned out!

I have used Pink Paislee's Summer Lights collection, as well as watercolour paints for my background.

That chipboard mermaid sticker, and that cute frame, 

are just the perfect adornment to my daughter's sweet pic!

Lots of cool ephemera, and 6 x 12 stickers here too!

Paper Issues: Summer Be Thy Working Title!

Hi Happy Arty Days Friends & Fans! 

Time for one of my absolute favourite challenges at Paper Issues, 

Ok, so I may be a lil biased - 

but my challenge truly is a good one to play along with!

Before we get started, I just want to say,

Omgoodness! You creatives are knocking these titles outta the park!

I am so amazed by all the awesome entries for this challenge last month!

Thankyou so much for playing along!!!

This month's Working Title is super fun, and easy to play;

Create a multi word title that includes the word 'Summer' too!

Ideas: Here Comes Summer, Summer Lovin', Summer Vacay, Best Summer Ever, I Heart Summer! Summer Paradise, Feels Like Summer - you get the picture ;)

There are SO many fabulous Summer themed collections in the store right now too!

Here's my creation, 

"SUMMER MAID"

Oh isn't this the sweetest?!

Summer never looked so pretty! 

I have used the gorgeous Pink Paislee Summer Lights collection, and have created my title with the Feels Like Summer cut file

Here's a closer look for you.......

Such a bold title, and yet so delicate and pretty! Love it! 

And how about that divine embellishment cluster on my photo?

 

Lots of cool stickers and ephemera to adorn my page!

Paper Issues: August Take 5 Tuesday!

Hi Creative Friends! 

Welcome to the August edition of Paper Issues Take 5 Tuesday!

Here's what this month's list looks like.....

How fabulously fun! 

 I used orange, yellow, turquoise, die cut, patterned paper (fussy cut) cardstock, sticker, title, ink and Summer theme - LOL! I may have taken 10, but that's how easy it is to play along ;)

"Summer, Light It Up"

Gasp! This is my new favourite layout! 

So many gorgeous elements - sunset watercolours, fussy cut clouds, & a wreath cut file! 

LOVE it!

I have used Pink Paislee's Summer Lights collection, it may just be another of my new favourite collections!

Love these two! Aren't they the cutest?! 

This was such a happy Summer's day that I wanted to capture the 'magic' feeling in my layout.

The sunset colours, rainbows, stars & clouds really add that magical touch!

The fussy cut clouds are from patterned paper #5 (Clouds)  and they are the coolest! They have a neon outline to them and really 'pop'!

Those clouds are just divine!

The Dream is Real describes this memory perfectly!

Such a pretty page!

I have foam mounted my center panel, as well as my colour photograph, to add dimension and interest to my layout. 

Bright colours, contemporary designs, Summer vibes and neon highlights - SO cool!

You'll spy a few fussy cut pieces, as well as ephemera, chipboard & 6 x 12 stickers. 

Isn't it all so pretty?!!

Love all the neon & holographic foil pieces in this line.....

Just look at that holographic foil!!! AWEsome!

Paper Issues: Product Spotlight on Summer Collections

Hi Creatives!

Welcome back for another fabulous Product Spotlight with Paper Issues!
Today we're shining the light on any Summer themed collections,
 I chose Pink Paislee's Summer Lights for mine!

Here's what I created with it,

"Light It UP"

How bright n fun is this?!! Love the sunset, pastel & holographic colours in this line!

Fab-u-lous!!!

Nothing says sweet Summer vibes more than neon brights!

You'll spy patterned paper #4, as well as a few awesome embellishments - 

Ephemera Die Cuts, 6 x 12 Accent Stickers, &  Foil Accent Thickers. 

I've added a little zig zag stitching and watercolours for added texture & interest too!

Ok, so photographing the holographic accents is going to take a lil practice...lol! But I can assure you that they look incredible in real life!

Such a happy moment!

Paper Issues: June Scraplift Sunday #4

Hi  Happy Arty Days Friends!

It's Sunday, & you know that means it's time for a Paper Issues Scraplift 

& today we're lifting this layout from me! 

Eeep! What an honour!

I love my original, so I decided to flip the design for a really different look! 

I also opted for a Summer page instead of a Fall one too! 

Here's what I created.......

"The Ocean Is Calling"

Omgoodness! How fun is this?!!!

Such a bright, fun and contemporary Summer page! Love it!

I have used the new Pink Paislee Summer Lights collection & combined it with washi tape from Heidi Swapp's  Magnolia Jane collection. 

Despite being a predominantly girly Summer line, 

Summer Lights worked perfectly for my Mister A for Awesome!
