City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 271 ~ Hemp and Twine will be fine

Hello friends, I am back!
40 hours ride, can you believe it? 6+ hours from Singapore to Seoul, 7 hours lay over, 12+ hours Seoul to LA, our flight from Seoul delayed an hour, that make us missed our connection from LAX to Las Vegas, so our bags were check into the next flight, and we found out that the flight that left turned back to LAX due to bad weather, although we are able to get on the flight that we missed, but it sat on the runway till 4 PM, which is 3+ hours delayed, whew..... we finally got home.

I haven't got time to blog as I get back to work right away, however, it is Tuesday and we have a new challenge at

First thing I do, always dig through my PTI NBUS pile

and then I remember, when my first PTI Make it Market kit arrived few months ago, what caught my eyes is this little wax stamp seal die, I have plan to use it but really.... I haven't find an opportunity to do so.

Here comes the day - I am making a few invitation cards for a house party

V for Vittetoe of course

PTI Make it Monday # 163 ~ Envelope Wraps

The Challenge:

You can check out the tutorial HERE!

I made a card earlier and it is slightly too big for the envelope I have at home, so I had to make a special envelope to house the card. So this envelop wraps challenge come just in time. I used kraft cardstock to make the envelope....

and then stamped with PTI World map stamp set

and I used PTI Label basic stamp set and matching die for the envelope wrap...

The lines are stamped with PTI take note stamp set

other side of the envelope

and I thought I'll show you the card as well

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 170 ~ Summertime!

Wendy is our lovely host this week at

She challenged us to make a project that says

Summertime

Summertime might be beach house vacation for some, flip-flops, watermelon and BBQ for some, but for me, strawberries always pop up when I think of Summertime

Here again, using my favorite strawberry stamp set to make a set of card for Clare

with matching envelopes

I had an old projects that left me with lots of these white cardstock frames

great time to use them

this is a quick and easy project since I have those frames all ready to be used

I make 6 cards with different sentiments

Come on and join us

Mother-Daughters Time

Dolce and I drove to CA to spend a few hours with Clare, I am happy that I get to see her again
Plus we get to go to Ikea!!!! (happy happy me!!!!!)

So this is a pre-scheduled post

...............

The Challenge:

This week is my favorite people - Melissa Phillips, making a card with matching envelope, focusing on the beautiful envelope, love it (Watch video by Melissa HERE)

Here's the front of the envelop....

and the back.....

I used 3 stamp sets from Papertrey Ink on this project

PTI Postmarks stamp set (I love this and used it a lot)

and the orange and yellow polka dots patterned paper is also from PTI

now every pretty envelope needs a pretty matching card right? LOL!

vintage button and twine are both from Papertrey Ink

the card is basically using the same stamp set and die as the envelope

it is weird that this time I actually started with the envelope and then make a matching card, LOL!

 like the envelope said -

Wishing you a fabulous day!
