guitarz.blogspot.com:Stephen McSwain of Mc Swain Guitars builds custom guitars for the likes of Slash, Tommy Lee, and Vernon Reid, and they are always highly individual pieces of what he likes to call "functional art". Some might feature intricate carved bodies, or representations of Frankenstein's Monster or the Wicked Witch of the West, whilst others - such as the Starlingear pictured here - have metal-encased bodies with rivetted panels and aircraft gauges.
